John 5
[26] For as the Father hath life in himself; so hath he given to the Son to have life in himself;
[27] And hath given him authority to execute judgment also, because he is the Son of man.
[28] Marvel not at this: for the hour is coming, in the which all that are in the graves shall hear his voice,
[29] And shall come forth; they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life; and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation.
It would be hard to conclude that damnation isn't forever, otherwise Jesus would have said something like "they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of purifying fire".

In modern English:
Most assuredly, I say to you, the hour is coming, and now is, when the dead will hear the voice of the Son of God; and those who hear will live. 26 For as the Father has life in Himself, so He has granted the Son to have life in Himself, 27 and has given Him authority to execute judgment also, because He is the Son of Man. 28 Do not marvel at this; for the hour is coming in which all who are in the graves will hear His voice 29 and come forth—those who have done good, to the resurrection of life, and those who have done evil, to the resurrection of condemnation.
And:
Jon 3:16-18 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. 17 For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved. 18 “He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God
John 3:36 says: He who believes in the Son has everlasting life; and he who does not believe the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God abides on him.”

Seems pretty clear.
And there is this:
Revelation 2:11
“He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.
He who overcomes shall not be hurt by the seconddeath.”’ Revelation 2:10-12 (in Context) Revelation 2 (Whole Chapter)
Revelation 20:6
Blessed and holy is he who has part in the first resurrection. Over such the seconddeath has no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with Him a thousand years. Revelation 20:5-7 (in Context) Revelation 20 (Whole Chapter)
Revelation 21:8
But the cowardly, unbelieving, abominable, murderers, sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars shall have their part in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone, which is the seconddeath.”

It's a reference to Daniel 12:1-2...the holy city and people etc..et al Eze 37:4..dry bones (Hebrew saints) and of course it is forever, just not as you are interpreting it...as in incorporeal...or otherwordly....we need to keep reminding ourselves to stay in its historical context...understanding that Israel’s history was coming to a climax in the first century, Jesus set before the people two paths – a wide path that led to destruction, and a narrow path that led to life (Matt 7:13-14; Luke 13:24). There is an echo here of Jeremiah 21:8-10, where the ‘way of death’ culminates in the destruction of Jerusalem by the king of Babylon uescape to the mountains before the end (Matt 24:16-18; Mark 13:14). The choice, and the division in Israel that resulted from it, is also foreshadowed in the distinction in Daniel between, on the one hand, those who ‘forsake the holy covenant’ and, on the other, ‘the people who know their God’ – the wise, who will be refined through suffering and in the end raised to ‘everlasting life’ (Dan 11:30-35; 12:2).
If believer of Jesus were to damn other people then , this would give the devil the authority to bother the person being damned and to bother the believer of Jesus who issued the damnation, were the believer would have to take back and remove the damning curse so peace will come back to Him for Jesus spirit to live with him....... But God is the Supreme Authority over life and is not influenced by the carnal spirit of this World for His personal movement , so if a man gets married to the Lord, life will be his .... The Lord puts before man Life and death and says ``Choose life``
