He sure did!

"24 By faith Moses, when he was come to years, refused to be called the son of Pharaoh's daughter; 25 Choosing rather to suffer affliction with the people of God, than to enjoy the pleasures of sin for a season;
26 Esteeming the reproach of Christ greater riches than the treasures in Egypt: for he had respect unto the recompence of the reward." Heb. 11

Christ is to do what is right. Moses did what is good, because to do good is Christ. And he knew it.

Thoughts?

Peace,
brian

John 8:58 New International Version (NIV)

“Very truly I tell you,” Jesus answered, “before Abraham was born, I am!”

Abraham came before Moses, so I'd have to reply in the affirmative. The Logos came before all of existence (John 1:1). To know one person of the Trinity is to know all of them.

Yes, this is the Trinitarian view. Take it or leave it.

According to 1 Cor. 10 (http://http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=1 Corinthians+10&version=YLT - broken link), Moses & all the people with him knew the Christ. Although the Israelites "drank of Christ", the passage continues by saying that God was not well-pleased with most of them.

At this point, I think of the Christ as being the Spirit/Word of God/Love/Light which has come to all people ... And as Paul also says in Romans, we constantly are making a choice whether to walk in that Spirit, or to walk in the flesh.

"A walk to remember."

Moses prophesied that a prophet like him was coming and that when he comes his people should obey him. So he knew that a Christ of God was coming into the world at some point. The Hebrews passage you posted, you have interpreted accurately. He that is well, needs no doctor

Did Moses know Christ personally in the OT?

Of course, they used to bar-hop together, pickin' up chicks!!! They had this routine they used with a mattress in the back of a pickup truck....

"Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I am." John 8:58

After he said this, the Jews responded..

"Then took they up stones to cast at him: but Jesus hid himself, and went out of the temple, going through the midst of them, and so passed by." John 8:59

They tried to kill him after he said he was "I am."

Exodus 3:13-15 King James Version (KJV)

"13And Moses said unto God, Behold, when I come unto the children of Israel, and shall say unto them, The God of your fathers hath sent me unto you; and they shall say to me, What is his name? what shall I say unto them?

14And God said unto Moses, I AM THAT I AM: and he said, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, I AM hath sent me unto you.

15And God said moreover unto Moses, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, the LORD God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, hath sent me unto you: this is my name for ever, and this is my memorial unto all generations."

Jesus is the image of the invisible God. (Colossians 1:14-16) God humbled himself and entered his creation as a man to redeem us. It is something that should blow everyone's mind on this planet, but sadly so many reject him.

"I AM THAT I AM" - the pre-existing one. That should blow all our minds away! HalleluYah!
