They told you that you were sinning?...Where in the Food Laws does it say that one sins if they eat pork?...Was anybody stoned for this?...

Lev 11:1 And Jehovah spoke to Moses and to Aaron, saying to them,
Lev 11:2 Speak to the sons of Israel, saying, These are the living things which you shall eat out of all the animals which are on the earth.
Lev 11:3 Any that divides the hoof and is wholly clovenfooted, bringing up the cud, among the living things, you may eat it.
Lev 11:4 Only, you may not eat these, of those bringing up the cud, and of those dividing the hoof: the camel, though it brings up the cud, yet it does not divide the hoof; it is unclean to you;
Lev 11:5 and the rock badger, though it brings up the cud, yet it does not divide the hoof; it is unclean to you;
Lev 11:6 and the hare, though it brings up the cud, yet it does not divide the hoof; it is unclean to you;
Lev 11:7 and the swine, though it divides the hoof and is clovenfooted, yet it does not bring up the cud; it is unclean to you.
Lev 11:8 You shall not eat of their flesh, and you shall not touch their dead body; they are unclean to you.
Lev 11:9 Of all that are in the waters, you shall eat these; any one that has fins and scales in the waters, in the seas, and in the torrents, you may eat them.
Lev 11:10 But any one that does not have fins and scales in the seas, and in the torrents, of any swarming creature of the waters, and of any creature which lives in the waters; they are to be detested by you.
Lev 11:11 Yes, they shall be detested by you; you shall not eat of their flesh and you shall shun their dead bodies.
Lev 11:12 Any one that does not have fins and scales in the waters, it shall be an unclean thing to you.
Lev 11:13 And these you shall count unclean among the fowls; they shall not be eaten; they are unclean: the eagle, and the black vulture and the bearded vulture,
Lev 11:14 and the kite, and the falcon, according to its kind;
Lev 11:15 every raven according to its kind;
Lev 11:16 and the ostrich, and the great owl, and the gull, and small hawks, according to its kind;
Lev 11:17 and the little owl, and the cormorant, and the eared owl;
Lev 11:18 and the barn owl, and the pelican and the owl-vulture;
Lev 11:19 and the stork, the heron according to its kind, and the hoopoe, and the bat.
Lev 11:20 Every flying swarming creature going on all four, it is an abomination to you.
Lev 11:21 Only, this you may eat of any swarming thing which flies, which goes on all four, which has legs above its feet, to leap with them on the earth;
Lev 11:22 these are those you may eat: the locusts according to its kind, and the bald locust according to its kind, and the long horned locust according to its kind, and the short horned grasshopper according to its kind.
Lev 11:23 But every swarming thing which flies, which has four feet, it is unclean to you.
Lev 11:24 And by these you shall be made unclean; any who touches their dead body is unclean until the evening.
Lev 11:25 And anyone who lifts up their dead body shall wash his garments and shall be unclean until the evening;
Lev 11:26 even every living thing which divides the hoof, and is not clovenfooted, and does not bring up the cud, they are unclean to you; anyone who touches them shall be unclean.
Lev 11:27 And any going on its paws among all the living things which go on all four, they are unclean to you; anyone who touches their dead body is unclean until the evening;
Lev 11:28 and he who lifts up their dead body shall wash his garments and shall be unclean until the evening; they are unclean to you.
Lev 11:29 And these shall be unclean to you among the swarming things which swarm on the earth: the weasel, and the mouse, and the great lizard according to its kind,
Lev 11:30 and the gecko, and the monitor, and the lizard, and the sand lizard, and the barn owl.
Lev 11:31 These are unclean to you among all which swarm; anyone who touches them in their death is unclean until the evening.
Lev 11:32 And anything on which any one of them falls in their death is unclean, whether of any vessel of wood, or garment, or skin, or sack; any vessel in which work is done shall be caused to go into water, and shall be unclean until the evening; then it shall be cleaned.
Lev 11:33 And any earthen vessel into the midst of which any one of them falls, whatever is in it shall be unclean, and you shall break it.
Lev 11:34 And of all the food which may be eaten, that on which such water falls shall be unclean, and all drink that may be drunk in any such vessel shall be unclean.
Lev 11:35 And anything on which any part of their dead body falls shall be unclean; an oven or hearth shall be broken down; they are unclean; yes, they are unclean to you.
Lev 11:36 But a fountain or a well, a collection of water, shall be clean; only that touching the dead body is unclean.
Lev 11:37 And when any part of their dead body falls on any sowing seed which is sown, it shall be clean;
Lev 11:38 but when water is put on the seed, and any of its dead body has fallen on it, it shall be unclean to you.
Lev 11:39 And when any of the animals which are food for you dies, he who touches its dead body is unclean until the evening;
Lev 11:40 and he who eats of its dead body shall wash his garments and shall be unclean until the evening; and he who lifts up its dead body shall wash his garments and shall be unclean until the evening.
Lev 11:41 And every swarming thing which swarms on the earth is unclean; it shall not be eaten.
Lev 11:42 Anything going on its belly, and any going on all four, and all having many feet, even every swarming thing that swarms on the earth, you shall not eat them, for they are unclean.
Lev 11:43 You shall not pollute yourselves with any swarming thing which swarms, nor shall you make yourselves unclean with them, so that you should be defiled by them.
Lev 11:44 For I am Jehovah your God, and you have sanctified yourselves, and you have become holy, for I am holy. And you shall not defile your persons with any swarming thing which creeps on the earth;
Lev 11:45 for I am Jehovah who brought you up out of the land of Egypt to become your God; and you shall be holy, for I am holy.
Lev 11:46 This is the law of the animals, and of the fowl, and of every living creature which moves in the waters, and every creature which swarms on the earth,
Lev 11:47 to make a distinction between the unclean and the clean, and between the living thing that may be eaten and the living thing that may not be eaten.

They are also recorded here:

Deu 14:1 You are sons to Jehovah your God; you shall not cut yourselves, nor make any baldness between your eyes for the dead.
Deu 14:2 For you are a holy people to Jehovah your God; and Jehovah has chosen you to be a people to Him, a special treasure out of all the peoples who are on the face of the earth.
Deu 14:3 You shall not eat any abominable thing.
Deu 14:4 These are the animals which you shall eat: the ox, the flocked sheep, and the flocked goat,
Deu 14:5 the hart and gazelle, and roe deer, and wild goat, and antelope, and oryx, and moufflon.
Deu 14:6 And you may eat every animal that divides the hoof, and divides two hoofs wholly, and chews the cud among the animals.
Deu 14:7 But you shall not eat of those that only chew the cud, or those only dividing the cloven hoof: the camel, and the hare, and the rock badger; for they chew the cud but do not divide the hoof. They shall be unclean to you.
Deu 14:8 And the swine, because it divides the hoof, but does not chew the cud; it is unclean to you. You shall not eat of their flesh, nor touch their dead body.
Deu 14:9 These you shall eat of all in the waters: you shall eat all that have fins and scales.
Deu 14:10 And whatever does not have fins and scales, you shall not eat. It shall be unclean to you.
Deu 14:11 You shall eat of all clean birds.
Deu 14:12 But you shall not eat of these: the eagle, the black vulture, and the bearded vulture,
Deu 14:13 and the hawk, and falcons, and the kite by its kinds,
Deu 14:14 and all ravens by their kinds;
Deu 14:15 and the ostrich, and the great owl, and the sea gull, and small hawks by their kinds,
Deu 14:16 the little owl, and the eared owl, and the barn owl,
Deu 14:17 and the pelican, and the owl, and the cormorant,
Deu 14:18 and the stork, and the heron after its kind, and the hoopoe, and the bat.
Deu 14:19 And every teeming thing that flies shall be unclean to you; they shall not be eaten.
Deu 14:20 You may eat of all clean birds.
Deu 14:21 You shall not eat of anything that died of itself. You may give it to the alien who is within your gates, that he may eat it. Or you may sell it to a foreigner. For you are a holy people to Jehovah your God. You shall not boil a kid in its mother's milk.
Deu 14:22 Tithing you shall tithe all the increase of your seed that the field yields year by year.
Deu 14:23 And you shall eat before Jehovah your God in the place which He shall choose to cause His name to dwell there, the tithe of your grain, of your wine, and of your oil, and the firstlings of your herd and of your flock; that you may learn to fear Jehovah your God all your days.
Deu 14:24 And if the way is too long for you, so that you cannot carry it, because the place is too far from you which Jehovah your God shall choose to set His name there, when Jehovah your God shall bless you;
Deu 14:25 Then you shall give it for silver, and bind up the silver in your hand. And you shall go to the place which Jehovah your God shall choose.
Deu 14:26 And you shall pay the silver for whatever your soul desires, for oxen, or for sheep, or for wine, or for fermented drink, or for whatever your soul desires. And you shall eat there before Jehovah your God, and you shall rejoice, you and your household.
Deu 14:27 And you shall not forsake the Levite who is within your gates, for he has no portion nor inheritance with you.
Deu 14:28 At the end of three years, even the same year, you shall bring forth all the tithe of your increase, and shall lay it up within your gates.
Deu 14:29 And the Levite, because he has no portion nor inheritance with you, and the alien, and the fatherless, and the widow who are within your gates shall come and shall eat and be satisfied; so that Jehovah your God may bless you in all the work of your hand which you do.

I do not see anything that states that you are sinning and are to be stoned and cut off from the people, you are just unclean until evening and must purify yourselves if you eat these things, however, Hashem has told us that they are scavengers, even the dog, and they can be hazardous to our health...Many attempt to say that HaShem has made all things clean to eat, why then are these on the unclean list still regestering as toxic to the human body?...They are still what HaShem created them for, scavengers, they are the cleaners of the world...Do you trust HaShem enough to know what is good for you and what is not?...

Im normally quoted with this verses Isaiah 65:4 & Isaiah 66:17

Isaiah 65:2-4

2 All day long I have held out my hands to an obstinate people,
who walk in ways not good, pursuing their own imaginations—
3 a people who continually provoke me to my very face,
offering sacrifices in gardens and burning incense on altars of brick;
4 who sit among the graves and spend their nights keeping secret vigil;
who eat the flesh of pigs, and whose pots hold broth of impure meat;

Isaiah 66:17

17 “Those who consecrate and purify themselves to go into the gardens, following one who is among those who eat the flesh of pigs, rats and other unclean things—they will meet their end together with the one they follow,†declares the Lord.

So you have not other example do you? I knew that already. Just wondered if you would admit it or try to dodge the truth here. I see what you choose to do.

I realize that but you must admit he only addressed the issue that was before them because that is what they were talking about. Why would he discuss food when that was not the topic? You seem to be jumping all over the place trying not to get caught in the problems your logic creates for you. But I accept that I am correct here and you have no valid point on this one.

IN Act's chapter 15 Peter and the other Apostles write to the Gentiles telling them they are NOT UNDER THE LAW and do not tell them to follow the food laws. But do address food in the letter. This is one of the clearest examples that the 12 Apostles taught that Gentiles were not to follow the law or food laws. This is what they the Apostles had to say on the subject:

10 Now therefore why tempt ye God, to put a yoke upon the neck of the disciples, which neither our fathers nor we were able to bear?

So you are tempting God if you try and teach that Christians should keep the law. Any of it! So this would be a sin if you do it.

James (the bishop of the first church) said:

19 Wherefore my sentence is, that we trouble not them, which from among the Gentiles are turned to God:

20 But that we write unto them, that they abstain from pollutions of idols, and from fornication, and from things strangled, and from blood.

Nothing about no pork or shrimp here.

24 Forasmuch as we have heard, that certain which went out from us have troubled you with words, subverting your souls, saying, Ye must be circumcised, and keep the law: to whom we gave no such commandment:

The Apostles write a letter saying they did not give any commandment to keep the law. They say those who did are "subverting your souls". So if you teach that we must be under the law you are subverting souls. This would be a sin too.

28 For it seemed good to the Holy Ghost, and to us, to lay upon you no greater burden than these necessary things;

29 That ye abstain from meats offered to idols, and from blood, and from things strangled, and from fornication: from which if ye keep yourselves, ye shall do well. Fare ye well.

OK now the Holy Ghost has entered the picture declaring to not keep the law or food laws but only those few specific things. Why would anyone go against the Apostles and the Holy Ghost and teach something that is wrong? This is open sin and rebellion against God. You really need to stop you sinning and get right with God.

You are the one that has a problem with logic, not me...I go as far as revealed in Scripture and do not go outside the Scriptures with undo speculation the way you do...

1) HaShem gave Peter a vision.

2) Peter had an epiffany with regards to the vision.

This is where the meaning of the vision ends..We are told, by Peter, what the vision meant...

The speculation arises when one reads a meaning into something that is not there...This is because one wants to believe something so one reads a meaning that is unintended...In this case, the vision...Since Gentiles were categorized as unclean, and no Jew would touch an unclean thing or have anything to do with an unclean thing, and the fact that many things are veiled in allegory, metaphor, parable, using Hebraic Idioms, and the fact that Peter aknowledged that HaShem was telling him, through this vision, that the Gospel was to go out to the Gentiles and that was the end of the meaning, it is illogical and unreasonable to take it farther than is meant...Unless you are employing PARDES...

I think Christians should eat whatever they want ... even Thai and Indian food, if they can stand it.

The only dietary restriction I place on myself is to avoid meat on Good Friday and go look for a nice piece of swordfish/halibut/shark or, if I'm lazy, a Filet-O-Fish.
