It is absolutely clear that evolution happened, to what degree it may have been guided is another question, but it is a question in religion, not a question in science.

Concerning biological evolution, the Church does not have an official position on whether various life forms developed over the course of time. However, it says that, if they did develop, then they did so under the impetus and guidance of God, and their ultimate creation must be ascribed to him.

Concerning human evolution, the Church has a more definite teaching. It allows for the possibility that man’s body developed from previous biological forms, under God’s guidance, but it insists on the special creation of his soul.

Since I am a Christian, all of my views about anything would be as a Christian.

I believe in evolution. Of course God had his hand in it. He's God. He is omnipotent and controls every thing.

Here's the one question I always ask...

If we "supposedly" evolved like they claim we did, why did we stop evolving?? What's the scientific reasoning as to why we aren't still evolving?? We've been in human form for 6,000 years now. Seems like there would be some form of mutation by now.

Doesn't matter... Evolution is pure nonsense. Scientists can create their own species nowadays. They've created a way to live without breathing, it's still in the process of being perfected, but it doesn't change the fact that they created it. They can read your mind and see images that are stored in your brain. They can make people invisible by cloaking them. They can easily change the personality of someone and give them a new identity along with memories of a life they never lived without them even knowing it. They're playing "God" but they don't want to accept the fact there really is a God?? Hmmmmm... Sounds like they need to take a step back and realize who is in control here!

The Catholic Church advocates the use of reason despite the Galileo incident a few hundred years ago.

Catholics are advised to take Genesis as a poem if they choose or desire to do this. What really matters is the massage.
