You don't judge a 90 year old man by a 90 second YouTube clip without giving him an opportunity to offer a rebuttal.

I can't prove whether or not he misspoke, or what else was said, but even Jesus is not immune to such unfair and immature attacks:

“If any man come to Me and hate not his father and mother, and wife and children, and brethren and sisters, yea, and his own life also, he cannot be My disciple."--Luke 14:26

So, does any Christian believe that Jesus rejects the fifth commandment, or does context matter?

Yes, they go to Heaven if they accept Jesus Christ as their savior. God is not legalistic.

I suppose you are asking if it is possible to live, and never even hear of Jesus.

Romans 1:20 For since the creation of the world God's invisible qualities--his eternal power and divine nature--have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that people are without excuse.

So, even people in Amazon who have never heard of Jesus can see evidence of Him in nature. Will they embrace this unknown God, or will they choose evil? Everyone has God given conscience so we know what it right, and what is wrong. There were two kinds of Indians in the South American jungles, those who murdered people in evil worship of false gods, and those who lived peacefully in the nature. Movie "Apocalypto" demonstrates this difference very well.

Will God have mercy on those who embrace Him without knowing Him?

The Bible teaches there is a difference between those who know of Jesus, but reject Him anyway, and those who never heard of Him.

Luke 12 “The servant who knows the master’s will and does not get ready or does not do what the master wants will be beaten with many blows. But the one who does not know and does things deserving punishment will be beaten with few blows."

Great post! It matches the catechism of the church.

It would probably be a comfort to the people who don't like mixing with anyone who isn't just like them. Personally, the idea of trying to find a peep-hole in the clouds so I can see what my Buddhist friends are up to has zero appeal.

I was told by the Sola Scritura folks that there are plenty of racists in heaven, so segregation could happen.

What happens if they except JC as their savior, but call God a jerk, at other times?

I'm guessing their salvation was in vain then.

I could not view the video yet. However, my feeling is this: It's between God and that individual. We don't know all that transpires between a person and God -- He is capable of anything, as he said He could have the rocks proclaim Him if He chose.
I believe that Jesus comes to individuals at different times, and perhaps near or at the end of a life. He makes Himself known to that person and what transpires is between Him and that person. It's not important for us to determine WHO "gets to go to Heaven" and who does not. There are many other things believers should occupy themselves with, like, for instance "feed the poor, care for the sick"...you know, those things everyone seems to forget Jesus urged us to do...be about the business of the Father.
