They look more like meatballs covered in spiritual white sauce from the FSM.
I don't mean to be rude, but there is no identifiable, reproducible, independently testable, evidence of anything supernatural. Even when we find things or events that we cannot explain with our current knowledge and understanding does not automatically indicate anything supernatural.
The FSM is clearly a satirical look at religion, but if it had been introduced 2000 years ago into a culture where noodles were prevalent, we probably would have a religion based around it today.
As Christians, we are all witnesses to God and the Holy Bible in our own ways. My intention is for a greater understanding of the Holy Spirit for the Christian and not to convert the non-believer. I am a mystic and believe I have insight to share. If a person does not believe in the Holy Spirit in the first place, I sincerely do not believe that they are going to see Him regardless of the evidence placed before them. The Christian himself has a hard enough time understanding the Holy Spirit, I surely do not expect the non-Christian to understand Him as well.

Mathew 3:16 When He had been baptized, Jesus came up immediately from the water; and behold, the heavens were opened to Him, and He saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove and alighting upon Him.
This short video of small orbs is merely to show how the Spirit of God truly does descend like a dove. Please do not be discouraged by the size or location of these orbs because I've seen them in the sky as large as a two story building before and looking quite impressive. And of course, the Spirit of God descending and alighting upon Jesus would have appeared as much more than the Spirit of God in this this video. We should be grateful that we have any videos at all of the Spirit of God descending like a dove and not let our preconceived notions or expectations of Him get in the way of our seeing the truth.
1 KINGS 2:1 And when it came to pass, when the LORD was about to take up Elijah into heaven by a whirlwind, that Elijah went with Elisha from Gilgal.
The Lord does this through the Holy Spirit. The whirlwind (tunnel or vortex) is the work of the Holy Spirit. Elijah would have traveled through a tunnel to heaven in one of God's chariots.

I believe this to be a significant piece and worthy of bringing up again with elaboration.
Any mystery as to what the Halo is...is now solved!
Notice how the supernatural orb looks exactly like the Halo.
I believe that the Halo can be seen in scripture as the Spirit of God alighting upon Jesus.

The Spirit of God is the Holy Spirit.
The Spirit of God alighting upon Jesus most likely appeared as a Halo.
The Halo could be nothing other than the Spirit of God (Holy Spirit).
The Spirit of God appears to be revealing to us through the Halo that He is the breathe of life given to all mankind in the very beginning by God.
Genesis 2:7 And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breathe of life; andman became a living being.
The term "Spirit" translates the Hebrew word ruah, which in it's primary sense, means breathe, air, wind.
I believe that the breath of life went through man's nostrils and is located over the brain (similar to the Halo) and without it, the brain would not function. It is connected to our spirits by the silver cord. Without the breathe of life we would not have life in this visible world. When the silver cord is loosed, we are cut off from the breathe of life, the brain dies, we become disconnected from our bodies and are no longer part of this visible world.
Ecclesiastes 12:6-7 Remember your Creator before the silver cord is loosed, Or the golden bowl broken, Or the pitcher shattered at the fountain, Or the wheel broken at the well. Then the dust will return to the earth as it was, And the spirit will return to the earth as it was, And the spirit will return to God who gave it.

This is similar to what the spiritual tunnel leading to heaven would look like. Imagine yourself in one of God's chariots (orbs) going through a tunnel on your way to heaven.
2 KINGS 2:11 ...Elijah went up by awhirlwindinto heaven.
Father God and His Son Jesus does this through the Holy Spirit. The "whirlwind" is the work of the Holy Spirit.

The faithful Christian who is not of this world can not only visually identify the Holy Spirit, but notice His acts as well.
