Homosexual people can procreate too. We aren't sterile. So unless you plan on making IVF, sperm donations, and surrogacy illegal, you don't really have a point. There are more ways to procreate than insert tab a into slot b.

Procreation has nothing to do with it. Sex outside of Biblical marriage is the issue. It is sin.

We certainly see more Christians having sex outside of marriage than we homosexuals wanting same sex marraige, yet there are hardly any threads calling out Christians living together in sin. For example, when a Christian has a child born oow, instead of addressing the sin we hear is, "well at least she didn't have an abortion." Why lash out at Non-Christians, when clearly your own house is not in order?

By that measure people banning gays from marrying are condoning sex outside of marriage.
Think about it.
And where does the bible say only hetro married is allowed?

Hint it doesn't

Because a wholesale change in the definition of marriage is a big deal.

Was it a big deal when the definition changed to make it so that a man could only have one wife instead of many? Was it a big deal when the definition was changed so that it was no longer a simple contract and exchange of property (woman for goats etc.) and the one party was no longer chattel?

Those seem like a much bigger deal to me.

You are right it is a big deal, and when same-sex marriage is legalized in all of the US, I will celebrate. For now, I enjoy a little victory each time an individual state allows ssm.
