Dear jan,
I live in a metropolitan area, and have worked for nuns, and have been to their convents, and even have a sister who became a nun, and I can tell you, I haven't seen this new movement you are speaking about. I see a lot of old women, who when they die, will not be replaced. Sometimes you will see a priest who is younger than Methuselah, but the young nuns, must be hiding from ISIS, for it is rare that I even see one.
