The beauty of unconditional, all-forgiving love of his 'whoring' wife, Gomer?
Sickly, unattractive after being used up by other men...
How it is symbolic of God's love...no pride...you could be the WORST...and
He will still love you, save you, nurse you and take you back in front of others' disbelief?

Just wondering...it isn't exactly studied in the Christian circles that I know of.

The Nature of God's Love is represented here as it is similarly in the story of
the Prodigal Son... I know this Love...I hope you all do, also...
And always keep this remembrance close to your hearts.

This is what this life is all about 'getting'.

Dear Hep,
I am not sure what you get out of Hosea 1:3, or where you get your background on Gomer. Maybe you can tell us, and maybe you can tell us your thoughts on Hosea 3. Keep in mind that the value of the "adulteress" was equivalent of 30 shekels of silver (Hos 3:2)

Give me a minute ....Been busy is all...there is nothing
I rather do than speak about God's burning, unconditional love.

I have experienced this kind of love in a very personal way. It's amazing, and it's real. It is the highest love there is.
