Did Jesus teach that? And, believe me, they're bona-fide, genuine members who would never deceive you?

Another non-answer. What a waste of people's time. Why start threads if you have no intention of discussing what your point is?

So, while it remains a mystery what the OP means when he says there aren't any Christians who follow Jesus, we can review few things Jesus talked about in Matt 25

Are there Christians who feed the hungry? Yes.

Are there Christians who welcome strangers? Yes.

Are there Christians who visit the sick? Yes.

Are there Christians who visit people in prison? Yes.

Since the OP says there aren't any Christians who follow Jesus, then above could not possibly qualify as "following Jesus".

So, what does it mean? If he means there aren't any who followed Him by by resurrecting themselves, then He would be right, but it would also be completely meaningless because we are not expected to do things beyond our control.

Ok, this reveals what your problem is. Like most posters on this forum, you simply do not like Christians, and will say anything to make them look bad.

Nothing new under the sun.

A Christian martyr is a person who is killed for following Jesus. In early church years, this often occurred through stoning, crucifixion, burning at the stake or other forms of torture and capital punishment. The word "martyr" comes from the Greek word μάρτυς, mártys, which means "witness."

Here's some more for you that shows just how dishonest most Christians are...

Are there really 100,000 new Christian martyrs every year? - BBC News
Downright lies, just like Christianity spreading like wildfire is a down right lie.

A Martyrdom Complex, one used to condemn others has no validity.
It's merely that of an "us" and "them" mentality to sway people.

In other words, to move humanity to, and fro. (Ha Satan)

That persecution complex is fading. It is not CHRISTIANS, it is that evangelical cultists TEACH others is a perverted interpretation of Christ's message that I personally dislike.
