Maybe you earned your faith, or whatever it is you have, through your works/love, but why pretend that is the case with everyone?
By loving as Jesus loves

NO BIBLE LOVER Is A People Hater YET People Lovers Can Be Bible Haters ?
Perhaps hater is an inaccurate word. It is entirely possible to treat others as less through the bible. It entirely possible to ignore people because they are not mentioned in the Bible. It is entirely possible to make more of the writers than they deserve. It is entirely possible to glimpse the goodness of people.

I like to put the Bible in perspective, T3. It is a divisive book among Christians and their many sects. It is simply a book.

Between the pages are terrible, horrible, very bad things. Between the pages is greatness, and love.

It makes no sense to hate a book. It is inanimate. It is entirely possible to agree or disagree with how it is used, interpreted, and abused by the readers.

How did your parents love you? Or, was it limited to a physical act?
(I think you can answer your own question)

Faith is not believing or making some kind of claim about something; it's knowing.
And, for some reason, you believe or claim that love equates to works, or you must earn it?

As I have said: "You put the cart before the horse."

Answer the question, or don't. Don't deflect by trying to ask me questions of your own.

No, it is not knowing, it is believing or trusting / having confidence in someone or something.

I have not said that is what I believe. It sounds like it is what you believe, which is why I keep asking you to explain it, but as usual, you refuse to answer.

Faith is not merely belief for it is not blind, there is sound reason for it.
And there is nothing greater than love as its foundation.

BTW - You are the ONE who kept putting down: works/love.
In other words, it was you who made the insinuation, not me.

Now, go and answer your own question.

Agape love is a state of mind and is described in 1Cor 13, Galatians 5 and the Sermon on the Mount. you have been told this multiple times, Finn. Why do you pretend to be obtuse???

If any of them fundies tell you that you have a debt hanging over your head, tell them come and see me. Also tell them that they don't know my love nor do they know the scriptures.

I asked you a simple question, and you keep dodging. Perhaps you realize that your answer would show your error which you are too proud to admit.
