Sounds familiar Rev 3 ?.

I didn't ask you for your definition, I asked Jerwade. Peace

But Jerwade answered you, and you're still asking.

Oh, and you sometimes seem to have trouble with the idea that this is a public message board, not a private chat room. Anyone can chime in, at any time.

I'm your friendly reminder to read what he wrote again, slowly, and with comprehension.

Ok, you win. So; "those who are raked over the coals of the ungodly", would be his answer? Seriously??? Peace

Read it again, slowly. For goodness sake, he even bolded it so you wouldn't have to strain yourself too much.

Rather, those who are raked-over the coals of the ungodly - to fill their own pockets with excess.

Or, if you prefer, that of deceiving people, when they are "desperate for hope."

Gosh, I'm sorry, don't get your undies in a twist, it's hard for me to understand philosophized writings.

Ok, so they're desperate, according to him. So 25,000 to 250,000 in a crusade, all "desperate" and therefore "poor in spirit". He should be so lucky as to be among them. I guess the assumption here then is that the only people that go are those that need healing. That might account for 10% I'd say. The rest go for the experience of being in His PRESENCE in a real and tangible way, brought about by so many praying for it in one place at one time. The WORST they might be guilty of is not pressing in enough to experience that themselves when alone with Him, but once they experience it, most press in after that, having had it made real for them. Peace

I'm sure you must be aware that saying "I'm sorry" is negated when you tell someone not to get their undies in a twist, right? Anyway, you're apologizing for the wrong thing. There's never a need to be sorry when you genuinely didn't understand something.
