I thought I would share some street preaching on Halloween 2016; this is a wicked night for people to engage in and a good time to reach the lost. The people assault the street preacher, but he did not revile back. It was very touching to see a Brother let his Jesus light shine brightly on such a dark night.

1 Peter 2
[21] For even hereunto were ye called: because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that ye should follow his steps:
[22] Who did no sin, neither was guile found in his mouth:
[23] Who, when he was reviled, reviled not again; when he suffered, he threatened not; but committed himself to him that judgeth righteously:

Funny that a person who salivates over people burning for an eternity thinks a dress-up party for children is evil.

Repent or Perish for dressing up!
Honk, if you love Jesus.

While I'm sure your heart is in the right place, Halloween is what you make of it. While some people, such as Wiccans may attach a religious meaning to the holiday, to most people it is simply a time to dress up in costumes and party, and for children to 'trick or treat,' and is harmless. Children going house to house and getting candy are not worshiping Satan or seeking fellowship with the powers of evil.

I dunno, having bags of candy ready for Halloween in my house that calls my name might be evil....

Halloween is basically the exaltation of death, geared to attract children at the earliest possible age, so as to desensitize them to all the evil images. As they get older, it's used to get them into various forms of occultic practices like séances and Ouija boards. Peace

Yes, it's an evil that people take lightly. It glorifies death, which is for the damned. A Saint of God glorifies life in Jesus.

Even for those who are pagans, where is the freedom of religion? The street preacher was insulting and slandering adults in front of their own children. Tell me how in a non theocracy is calling other religions evil fine but not allowing you to push your own religion upon everyone's children labelled persecution?

Christians, it is these types of behaviour and this intolerance for other beliefs not your belief in God and Jesus that causes much of the push back against you. An atheist standing on the sidewalk with a bull horn outside a church screaming the evils of your religion would be just as inappropriate as this jerk. Trying to spoil the event for both children and their parents based on the origin of the event is from a different religion is religious intolerance. I know some churches have children events that night as an alternative to Trick or Treat and as silly as this whole Halloween is evil sounds these church events are for the kids and is not out attacking other kids in public. There were probably many good and upstanding Christians on that street with their children and being accused in front of their kids of being drunks and adulterous and evil with no regard to how it might affect those kids. Not only intolerant but very insensitive and throwing false accusations upon adults doing nothing unusual or illegal.

Kids from all religions or of not at all are welcomed at our door that night. Love seeing kids being kids and playing dressing up and having fun.
