There is no salvation for gay peoples only condemnation, and separation from God's mercy. We don't want this to happen no one.
While I realize that ignorance of scripture abounds within 'Christianity' - and HOW! - I simply cannot let this one go without asking the poster to clarify where he/she got such a message. People are hearing or reading this type of crud on a daily basis and it needs to be nipped in the bud once and for all. WHERE in scripture does it state that there is no salvation, only condemnation, for gay people? Either come up with the goods which can then be discussed in a reasonable and theological manner ...or go away and take your ignorant message with you.
Ezekiel 37 19Say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I will take the stick of Joseph, which is in the hand of Ephraim, and the tribes of Israel his fellows, and will put them with him, even with the stick of Judah, and make them one stick, and they shall be one in mine hand.
22And I will make them one nation in the land upon the mountains of Israel; and one king shall be king to them all: and they shall be no more two nations, neither shall they be divided into two kingdoms any more at all: 23Neither shall they defile themselves any more with their idols, nor with their detestable things, nor with any of their transgressions: but I will save them out of all their dwellingplaces, wherein they have sinned, and will cleanse them: so shall they be my people, and I will be their God. 24And David my servant shall be king over them; and they all shall have one shepherd: they shall also walk in my judgments, and observe my statutes, and do them
Ephraim and Judah love the law and they keep the law.
This question is for Christians and particularly for those Christians who STILL use Leviticus 18:22 and Leviticus 20:13 to aim at gay people in an attempt to make them squirm.
The question is an easy one to answer. It's either 'yes' or 'no'. However, if it is 'yes' then a brief explanation will be required.
The question: Do you HONESTLY give a damn about ANY of the commands of Leviticus?
This could be a very short thread .. .
Where as Jesus brought a new covenant= Love--- God still does not change. So there is much knowledge of The Father in the OT one can get to know him-- Jesus said one must know him to get eternal life. So since Jesus clearly teaches---Man does not live by bread alone, but by EVERY utterance from God-- one surely listens to every book written in the bible.
