The very fact that the author of this blog was not even saved to Jesus ..... See people who are saved have the eternal ability to love the unlovable , not by natural man but of the love of God ......... See people who are saved will have Holy Spirit on their side night and day 24/7 365 days a year , even if some Christian never prays and Holy Spirit does not have anything to do , He will not leave the person unless Jesus stops praying for that person , but when Holy Spirit is there the fruits of the spirit will come through in the spirit .................. Even some of the liberal literal Christian believers Holy Spirit will never leave them , unless they blaspheme Jesus and Jesus stops praying ..... See circular reasoning come from people who deny Jesus and His Bible , so these people cannot be saved , and would only need the prayers of believers , anything else they say would be irrelevant .....So pay no mind the heathen ideas of unbelievers ...
Indeed. Confirms my thinking that fear is the root of fundamentalism. They are frightened into believing and remain too frightened to question those beliefs.
And the fact remains that simple-minded people prefer a simple, black and white world, with easy-to-follow directions. Hence the appeal to the barely-literate, ill-educated crowd.
All they need to do is: remember to say the Magic Words To Jesus - parrot what their minister says the bible says - and hate on gays.
Finally we learn where Jerwades confusion originates from
I thought it was interesting coming from the standpoint of an Ex-Fundamentalist. As for my views without you twisting them to mean something they do not to suit your modus operandi of manipulation. They have developed over the last half-century predicated on direct contact, as I spent over 30 years attending various Churches; prayer groups, men's breakfast meetings, and had my children attend youth groups where we went and built Churches in other countries. You name it and we have done it! I was also approached about being a Pastor, and I even played the role of Christ Jesus at one of the Churches in a musical production called "From Heaven's Throne." I didn't even have to shave or get a haircut!
One evening when I came to pick one of my daughters up from a Wednesday night youth event, she was out on the sidewalk with tears running down her face. She was between fourteen and sixteen at the time. As I approached her, I could hear the Pastor, youth Pastor and several parents reaming her about HELL. When she saw me, I told her too continue with her position and understanding which she did, running them through the Scriptures. She has posted on here in my name once or twice before. I call her 'Army Girl' (although she is an Officer in the Air Force; a Fight Commander of one of the largest bases). Because she has no fear of getting into the trenches or that of a debate. I asked her if she was done and she replied, "I am now!" I told her to go to the truck, "I will finish this conversation."
There isn't much you can tell me about people (Fundamentalists) or the Scriptures that I do not know.
And I have never judged the book by its cover. I let the word(s) [of people] speak for itself [themselves].
BTW - the other parents constantly threatened their own children with going to HELL.
My daughter merely stood up for them, and against the false notion of Eternal Damnation.

All I see is a person who keeps saying "let me tell you what you believe", and then go on to prove you dont have a clue.
And no, I do not twist your views. I admit I do not have the faintest idea what you believe, so I do not attempt to explain your view to you, or anyone else.

I think it plain and obvious what Jerwade believes. There is one thing for certain, and that is he has not built his life on a set of beliefs that he thinks will save his arse from burning in hell(which obviously you do).
