(Psalm 37:10, 11) . . .Just a little while longer, and the wicked will be no more; You will look at where they were, And they will not be there. 11 But the meek will possess the earth, And they will find exquisite delight in the abundance of peace. . .

God said it I believe it, do you?

Actually, it was the Psalm writer who said it. How long is a little while? That Psalm was written well before New Testament times and the first century Christians thought that Christ would return in their time. That time will come, but again, how long is a little while?

Highway says nothing about being with Christ. Only that he wants the wicked gone so he, the meek, can possess the world in peace. Kind of consumerist to me.

2 Tim 3:16. The Psalmist recorded Jehovah's inspired thoughts. Jesus even referred to those verses in his sermon on the mount Mike

Referring to 2 Tim. 3:16 doesn't answer the question. How long is a little while?

Bible prophecy indicates we are living in the last days. We believe Jesus was enthroned as King in 1914, and that generation will not pass from the earth before the return of Jesus. The world scene indicates to us that we are on the verge of the great tribulation, although those signs are not discerned by everyone sir.

As I showed, Jesus spoke with urgency nearly 2k yrs ago, and we are much closer now. But you could simply not prepare for it, you make the choice. Perhaps you could ask yourself, if the Kingdom is still yet far off, am I better off obeying God's rules and regulations now, or doing whatever I please? I cannot tell you how many among us believe that we would be dead by now if we hadn't followed God's laws. I can personally testify to two of my students who chose not to follow Jehovah's standards who are dead, both less than 50 yrs old I think.

Ridiculous! 1914 was just one in a long line of failed prophecies your organization has published.

Are you now saying your students died because they failed to follow JW rules? Astounding!

It sounded like he said that we have approximately, nine years before the second coming - if that generation lives to be 120 years of age? And, five years before the beginning of the great tribulation?

Biblically speaking, Jesus won't be enthroned as king until he returns to the earth and sets up the Millennial kingdom on the earth.

A better world is an admirable goal. Make believe will not make it happen, however.
