Proof texts you mention:

I Thessalonians 4:13-18

Brothers, we do not want you to be ignorant about those who fall asleep, or to grieve like the rest of men, who have no hope. 14We believe that Jesus died and rose again and so we believe that God will bring with Jesus those who have fallen asleep in him. 15According to the Lord's own word, we tell you that we who are still alive, who are left till the coming of the Lord, will certainly not precede those who have fallen asleep. 16For the Lord himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. 17After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will be with the Lord forever. 18Therefore encourage each other with these words.

I Corinthians 15:51-52

51 Behold! I tell you a mystery. We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, 52 in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised imperishable, and we shall be changed.
You dont know what you are taliking abour because you.reject the knowledge of Christ willingly.

That trumpet that hearlds the Messiah is called The last trumpet which os blown on every Rosh Hashanah, and when Paul speaka of that last trumpet, EVERY ONE KNEW HE WAS SPEAKING OF ROSH HASHANAH.

The fist trump is blown on Pentecost and.it.hearlds the beteorhal to all nation qhile the last trump hearlds the coming of the bridegroon with a shout, IT IS THE AWAKENING SHOUT OF THE TRUMPET.

THE LAST TRUMP, AND KNOWN TO ALL.WHO STUDY THE FEASTS OF GOD.

Paul is literally quoting Zechariah 14, paul is telling you that if you dont accept Tabernacles and you are fighting Jerusalem, YOU DIE.

Then AFTER ALL THE PAGAN CHRISTIANS DIE.

THEN, THEN.

THEN, "" Those of us left alive."

Paul is quoting Zechariah 14 and HOW ALL THE CHRISTIANS DIE AND
EXACTLY HOW AND
WHY THEY DIE.

The last trumpet will blast on Rosh Hashanah, THEN THOSE WHO ARE LEFT ALIVE."

AFTER THE ENEMIES OF JERUSALEM DIE.

WHO ARE THE ENEMIES OF JERUSALEM?

Christians.

Hope for the best and prepare for the worst, I always say.

The timing is not clear in the Bible. I don't see any reason to believe that Christians will be spared from the troubles of the tribulation however.

There are so many interpretations that I just figure I will love God and serve Him as well as I can from my limited perspective of a 21st century, American white woman. I do believe God loves me. I also believe He is 100 percent just and righteous. I think we're probably all in for some surprises one day.

We will be carried or brought to a higher place of knowledge and understanding, even while we yet live.

Sure, it is easy to understand: (1 Thessalonians 4:16, 17) . . .because the Lord himself will descend from heaven with a commanding call, with an archangel’s voice and with God’s trumpet, and those who are dead in union with Christ will rise first. 17 Afterward we the living who are surviving will, together with them, be caught away in clouds to meet the Lord in the air; and thus we will always be with the Lord.

Anointed Christians that are to reside in heaven who are dead will rise first Rev 20:6, and those who are still alive upon Jesus' return will die and meet him in the air. Some people call this the rapture. Keep in mind however it will not be all Christians, rather just the few anointed ones who are left at the end of the great tribulation, the remainder of Christians alive will survive through the great tribulation Rev 7:9,14

The Lord comes for us in the air and we are taken to heaven with Him. All believers receive their glorified bodies in the rapture, the primary purpose of the event. We reside in heaven until time to return with Christ at His second coming.

It appears that modern Christianity is always looking for a way to escape reality as the English word rapture comes from a Latin word, rapio, which means to seize in relationship to an ecstasy of spirit or an overwhelming feeling of great excitement that moves us from one state of mind to another. It has nothing to do with beam me up, Scotty, caught up in the air is merely a catchphrase that made its way into religion. But this doctrine of the rapture was meant to enable believers (undergoing persecution) to fix their eyes on their ultimate glory in Christ; not give them a false escapism mentality.

I Thessalonicenses 4:17 Latin: Vulgata Clementina
Deinde nos, qui vivimus, qui relinquimur, simul rapiemur c um illis in nubibus obviam Christo in aëra, et sic semper c um Domino erimus.

The English word 'rapture' therefore refers to what Paul says in 1 Thessalonians 4:17,
1 Thess. 4:17 Then we who are alive and remain will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air, and so we shall always be with the Lord.
Paul doesn't say that the church will remain in the air. But having met the Lord in the air the church then goes up into heaven until it returns to the earth with Jesus at the end of the Tribulation.

The rapture of the church and the resurrection of the church take place simultaneously.
To see how the Greek word ἁρπάζω/harpazó is used elsewhere in the New Testament click the link below.

https://biblehub.com/greek/726.htm

For instance, in 2 Corinthians 12:4 Paul says that he was caught up - ἁρπάζω/harpazó- into paradise.

In John 6:15 Jesus perceived that the crowd wanted to take him by force - ἁρπάζω/harpazó - to make him king.

In Acts 23:10 fearing that Paul would be torn apart by the hostile crowd, the Roman commander ordered troops to take Paul away from them by force - ἁρπάζω/harpazó - and bring him into the barracks.

In Matthew 12:29 Jesus asks 'how can anyone enter a strong man’s house and carry off - ἁρπάζω/harpazó - his possessions unless he first ties up the strong man? Then he can plunder his house.'

At the rapture of the church the church will be caught up, snatched away forcibly into the air and then into heaven where during the Tribulation that will be going on on earth, the church - the bride of Christ will have been made ready for the marriage of the Lamb according to Revelation 19:7-8.

The entire church is the bride of Christ and the entire church will be in heaven undergoing the judgment seat of Christ during the Tribulation and will have been made ready for the marriage of the Lamb.
