That is Cleary what you are doing. Why would Jesus tell us to seek if it was not within us to do so ?
I am sure you are one who would believe we are in the end times with current events......
But you, Daniel, seal these words and be silent and seal this book until the time of the end. Many shall seek and knowledge shall be multiplied Daniel 12:4
You still haven't answered my question. Why would Jesus tell us not to sin if we still do?
Why would Jesus tell His listeners to seek ye first the kingdom if they weren’t capable of doing so?
That is my point. We have it within us to seek after him, we might even be seeking him in the wrong things, but God sees the heart (Draw near to him and he will draw near to you). The patriarchs did and they are no different to us if we call upon him how they did.

I did not realize you were directing the question to me. What does that have to do with seeking the Lord ?
He didn't tell us not to sin. He said he that is without sin let him cast the first stone. Because the pharisees trusted in themselves, Jesus often raised the bar for them, and even then they still chose to throw stones.
Daniel said, in the time of the end men would seek the Lord, you cannot argue with that.

Wow. So God never told anyone not to disobey him? Because that is what sin is -- disobedience. You think that it has to be explicitly commanded to us to obey his commands? Based on your logic, would we know that we are to obey his command to obey his commands? Or is that open to interpretation?

Where did I say that ? You are playing with words.
It is inherent within all of us to seek after him even though it may appear none do.
That they should seek the Lord, if haply they might feel after him, and find him, though he be not far from every one of us: Acts 17:27
God is not far from any of us according to this scripture, so close we can feel him. Well fancy that, we can actually feel God. When you preach that God is distant and separated himself from us, you are preaching exactly the opposite of what this scripture says, and it is no wonder many couldn't care to seek after him.
The stumbling block for every christian is down to one thing..... being sin conscious rather than God conscious ...... Paul wrote that the communication of our faith becomes effective by the acknowledging of every good thing that is in us that is in Christ. Unfortunately sin conscious preachers would have us acknowledging everything bad thing that is of the flesh.

Right. And that's what Rom 3 says. No one seeks after God unless God first calls them. Have you read Romans 8?

When someone is given up for adoption, they grow to an age that they can seek out for themselves to find their natural parents. The child cannot do this unless the parents decide to do so first according to your theory. Within all of us is an inherent desire to seek and discover.
One thing have I desired of the LORD, that will I seek after; that I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the LORD, and to inquire in his temple
Man asleep to the things of God( a desire to seek him is a thing of God) is forever burning in him, asleep to this thing of God , he is parched and never satisfied.
You, God, are my God, earnestly I seek you; I thirst for you, my whole being longs for you, in a dry and parched land where there is no water.

This has nothing to do with the actual discussion....
But I'll ask again. Have you simply stopped sinning?

To answer your sinning question, I do not care about sin unless it harms another, all it means is I have turned my face away for a moment from the glorious image of God that is Jesus Christ in whose likeness I am being changed into (2 Cor 3:18).
It is about the inherent desire to seek, which is God given. Sadly, your black n white approach to reading the scriptures is blinding you. The nation of Israel through its leadership had become a nation that at that point did not seek after God, they literally were the blind leading the blind.
Those who go down to the sea in ships, Who do business on great waters; They saw the works of the LORD, his wonderful deeds in the deep.
Reading the scriptures with your black n white approach you would be telling us this is about fisherman out in the deep sea harvesting for their business. You read it in the Spirit, it is merchants(seekers of the things of God) going into the deep to seek the deep things of God (2 For 2:10).

So is that an admission to sinning? Because God tells us not to. So you go against God's will?
So is God just for commanding that which you cannot do?
