According to the bible: In God's eyes, sin is sin - there is no difference to HIM.

BUT:, .. .. there is ONE SIN. in the bible that is called the GREAT TRANSGRESSION !! (it does more damage, than all the rest combined)

what is that sin ???

Blasphemy of the Holy Spirit.

Nah, just not the answer you're looking for.

Perhpas you could have phrased your question differently.

Matthew 12 (New International Version)

Matthew 12

"31And so I tell you, every sin and blasphemy will be forgiven men, but the blasphemy against the Spirit will not be forgiven. 32Anyone who speaks a word against the Son of Man will be forgiven, but anyone who speaks against the Holy Spirit will not be forgiven, either in this age or in the age to come."

Perhaps the answer you were looking for is in Psalm 19:13, but that would be an argument of semantics rather than substance.

PERHAPS THE ANSWER SAYS THESE WORDS: Let me not be guilty of the Great Transgression

King David understood those words.. he wrote them (through the Holy Spirit) the answer is in Psalm 19 .. I quote from King Jimmy !!

Presumption is the sin of GREAT TRANSGRESSION..

puffed up people that base their responses on assuming and presuming then .. .. they act upon that GREAT TRANSGRESSION and treat people with anything but love.

The Great Transgression is quoted in Psalm Ch 19

"When David says Keep back thy servant from presumptous sin" he says this in prior context, referencing to " The Great Transgression"

a clearer depiction and description of the sin of presumption is found in Numbers 15: 30 - 35 backed by Exodus 35 : 30.

It is having a knowledge of what God commands one not to do, and then to go boldly ahead and sin, thinking that in God's eyes he will accept the non compliance of His (God's) own Law!

and in contrast...

It is having a knowledge of what God commands to do, and then to boldly go against his instruction and not follow through with his command and therefore sin, thinking that in God's eyes he will accept the non compliance of His (God's) own Law!

It is Idolatry, creature worship above creator worship through ideals actions and practices.

It is counterfeit worship...

that is why it is called....

The !!!GREAT!!! Transgresssion.

Kind Regards and God's richest blessings,

Your brother in Christ, in His Service!

Matthew David Smith [ a Fellow Dust Vessell ]

You are correct Omaha . . . but most do not understand what that means. The Holy Spirit is God's Spirit (consciousness) and God IS Love! When we promote "un-love" we blaspheme the Holy Spirit by corrupting the Gospel of His love for us all. This retains the savage and ignorant beliefs about God of our ancestors . . . and corrupts the love we are to have for God and each other. It prevents true repentance and correction of our consciousness to attune it to Christ's love for us all . . . (which is what gives us the cover for our imperfections).

The true great transgression is unbelief. From this comes every other sin.

I agree! -- More specifically, it is one's unwillingness to believe and trust in Christ for one's forgiveness, Salvation and eternal life. This is the "unforgivable sin" inherent in 'blasphemy of the Holy Spirit.'

So can we blaspheme if we have love and goodwill in our heart, but do not accept Jesus?
