What about the rest of the Christians?

Why do you consider yourself so helpless? You sound like a child who thinks only his parents can clean up the mess when they get home.
I don't consider myself helpless i find all the help i need in the lord, more than enough. With his i can accomplish great things. I am confident in him, that his spirit will bring about his good will which is eventually the restitution of all things to the original state. The ages and dispensations are will eventually unfold and his judgments and what he so determines will stand and all will become subject to Christ and made his footstool. I hope in some manner he will use my otherwise(without him) worthless self to help bring about his eventual and inevitable will.

We are spiritually evolving through our adolescence right now (no longer the children we were when the Bible was written) and it is time to take responsibility for ourselves, stop relying on our parents. I once believed as you, but I was guided through an extremely intense journey and learned first-hand that we are the ones for whom we wait.
I rely only on God for my well being. I am weak but he is strong. Blessed is he who waits upon the lord, he will be exalted ...

Psalm 37:34
"Wait on the LORD, and keep his way, and he shall exalt thee to inherit the land: when the wicked are cut off, thou shalt see it."

When the lord does something it gets done right ... Right?

If we let corporations and religions destroy our world, it is our own fault.
Its Gods will that this all should come about ...

Revelation 17:17
"For God hath put in their hearts to fulfil his will, and to agree, and give their kingdom unto the beast, until the words of God shall be fulfilled."

and...

2 Thessalonians 2:11
"And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:"

Indeed what we see in the world is Gods inevitable judgment which will eventually lead to reconciliation of all things.

I'm not here to accomplish the salvation of the world ... I am here to proclaim it having already been accomplished. I am here heralding its inevitable revelation in this visible world.

If this isn't talking about the rapture, what is it talking about? . . .

1Th 4:15-17 For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep. (16) For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: (17) Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

However, the bible definitely tells us in multiple places that we shall put off corruption and put put on incorruption, and put off mortality for immortality at the time of his appearing
Yes, that will happen per Matthew 24:30 "AFTER the tribulation of those days" not before the tribulation. Please show me anywhere in the gospels where Jesus implied the gathering of the Saints and the putting on of immortality would occur before the tribulation. Certainly anything Paul had to say about the so-called rapture (which should rightfully be called the Gathering instead) would have to be complete harmony with what Jesus taught and Jesus never taught a gathering and/or His return before the tribulation.

1Th 4:15-17
This occurs "AFTER the tribulation of those days" per Matthew 24:30. Jesus never taught any other return and gathering He would participate in other than this one AFTER the tribulation.

I believe the time of the end spoken of here in this verse of Daniel is the time we are living in now,
You know, Hal L. first taught in LGPE that Jesus would return in 1988 because it was 40 years after 1948. Then when 1988 came and went he taught that it would be 2007 because it was 40 years after 1967. Now that 2007 has come and gone and he and the other pre-trib teachers have no other starting date of significance to latch onto, they are now saying that a generation is 42.something years per averaging out the generations given in Matthew and Luke, while others have ditched the 40-years generation theory and are now pointing to 2017 as the Jubilee return starting from 1967. At least this last one gives them 8 years before they are proved wrong yet again. Do you see a pattern emerging here among pre-tribbers???

Actually if what Christ said about the fig tree parable refers to Israel becoming a nation again, then the generation that saw that happen would be a 40 year period of time. Israel becoming a nation again would be in the middle of that generation. So 20 years before and after Israel became a nation again. So 20 years after would be 67. Anyone born in 1967 would have been in that generation. So it is given man 70 years to live. So 1967 + 70 = 2037 ... Who can say for sure?
