A stone was not thrown but they were told not to sin.

10 nor thieves, nor the greedy, nor drunkards; no revilers, no extortioners shall be enjoying the allotment of God's kingdom.
11 And some of you were these, but you are bathed off, but you are hallowed, but you were justified in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ and by the spirit of our God.

The problem is this two millennia old category of persons. Under ancient Israel's law, if enforced, they didn't exist because they were executed. Today, the unrepentant homosexual rails against them, saying their claims are fraudulent, pushing for laws to silence their testimony as hate speech. Much of Institutional Charistianity doesn't want them because their unbelief is repulsed by them as homosexuals anyway, or, those with revisionist agendas don't like them because they only want to pander to real homosexuals, which seems the position of the OP. They get it from all sides; yet, they are the pre-eminant, truly Christian category in all this mess, they and those that rejoice in their liberation.
I want a scripture that clearly tells you personally to judge and expose sin . or better still stone them because that is exactly what you are doing .
1You, therefore, have no excuse, you who pass judgment on someone else, for at whatever point you judge the other, you are condemning yourself, because you who pass judgment do the same things. 2Now we know that God's judgment against those who do such things is based on truth. 3So when you, a mere man, pass judgment on them and yet do the same things, do you think you will escape God's judgment? 4Or do you show contempt for the riches of his kindness, tolerance and patience, not realizing that God's kindness leads you toward repentance?

And

He that is without sin let Him cast the first stone

Exactly.

Christians who run around feeling it is there "duty" to "expose" and rail against other's sins are precisely the reason so many people are turned off by church. Who wants to go somewhere to be judged?

And I thought the story referenced above was pretty clear on this subject?

No one is casting stones, we do this out of love to nudge our brother or sister in the right direction.

Ream Romans, Read Corinthians.

You really need to be careful about judging sin , because it will certainly come back on you .
Stones? Where? The crusade you wage here is kind of amorphous in foundation, mate. You will certainly enter ZugZub's believer appreciation thread though. That I can tell with confidence.

How exactly is pointing to the sin equal to stoning someone?

Show me where homosexuals are lined up and guillotined by the Liberte, Egalite and Fraternite.

There is something else which struck me as quite odd. Your message #51, will you ever have the guts to hurl that in a thread like this

where it can rightfully belong, or are you just too coy in restricting such corroboration with fellow theists who might not really rebuke you for it?

Luke 18: 9And He also told this parable to some people who trusted in themselves that they were righteous, and viewed others with contempt

Here seems to be a key thing. He told this parable to those who trusted in themselves and thought that they were better than "sinners" viewing others with contempt. We should never view others in contempt, no matter what the sin is. We are all in the same boat, in need of a Savior and the religious leaders who had the other attitude could not or would not see or accept this. God bless.

Yes Fundy read it , it's not an attack on sin and sinners it's a revealing of the heart of man without God and a warning not to judge .
