Where does it say God loves the sinner and hates sin ? Fundy are you out of your mind ? . The Cross my friend the Cross where God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself (Demonstrative love) not reckoning their sins against them (the sin he hates and what brought us under condemnation)

OHHHHHHH...yes I am out of my mind...or maybe not. See Pcamp these scriptures do not contradict the elect that God came to save some-God's not angry at those covered in His blood that has been reconciled it is those who are not covered by His blood or else why would God be angry? at who? These scriptures however contradict what you believe because if God's wrath was justified why would He still be angry?

(Psalm 7:11)
11God judgeth the righteous, and God is angry with the wicked every day.

(Psalm 5:4–6)
4 You are not a God who takes pleasure in evil; with you the wicked cannot dwell.
5 The arrogant cannot stand in your presence;
you hate all who do wrong.
6 You destroy those who tell lies;
bloodthirsty and deceitful men
the Lord abhors.

(Psalm 7:11)
11 God is a righteous judge,
a God who expresses his wrath every day.

(Deuteronomy 16:22)
22 and do not erect a sacred stone, for these the Lord your God hates.

(Proverbs 6:16–19)
16 There are six things the Lord hates,
seven that are detestable to him:
17 haughty eyes,
a lying tongue,
hands that shed innocent blood,
18 a heart that devises wicked schemes,
feet that are quick to rush into evil,
19 a false witness who pours out lies
and a man who stirs up

(Psalm 11:5)
5 The Lord examines the righteous,
but the wicked and those who love violence
his soul hates.

(Psalm 5:4)
4 You are not a God who takes pleasure in evil;
with you the wicked cannot dwell.

(Deuteronomy 12:31)
31 You must not worship the Lord your God in their way, because in worshiping their gods, they do all kinds of detestable things the Lord hates. They even burn their sons and daughters in the fire as sacrifices to their gods.

2 Corinthians 5:15-25 (NIV)

15And he died for all, that those who live should no longer live for themselves but for him who died for them and was raised again. 16So from now on we regard no one from a worldly point of view. Though we once regarded Christ in this way, we do so no longer. 17Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come! 18All this is from God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation: 19that God was reconciling the world to himself in Christ, not counting men's sins against them. And he has committed to us the message of reconciliation. 20We are therefore Christ's ambassadors, as though God were making his appeal through us. We implore you on Christ's behalf: Be reconciled to God. 21God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.

Fairly straight forward fundy.. If God hates the sinner then Christ died on the cross for nothing..

It is interesting though that everyting you cite though is from the mean OT God. Very telling indeed.

Oh and for clarification is was St Augustine who stated:

‘cu m dilectione hominum et odio vitiorum,’

or

‘With love for mankind and hatred of sins.’

As usual you get it all twisted around. Here's the truth:

2Co 5:19 how that God was in Christ, conciliating the world to Himself,
not reckoning their offenses to them, and placing in us the word of the
conciliation."

God is not mad at mankind. Since Christ died for all mankind God has been at peace with all mankind and is not reckoning their offenses to them.

Rom 5:18 Consequently, then, as it was through one offense for all mankind for condemnation, thus also it is through one just act for all mankind for life's justifying."

Try stuffing "just the elect" into that one Fundy.
