It certainly isn't you Shana ... I really don't see how anyone could blame those of us who believe in universal reconciliation and Gods unconditional love for being a hate group or hate mongers. As we pretty much are the most forgiving as far Christian doctrine, that is our badge of honor. We are the elite of the gospel of Grace. Even though i stand often diametrically opposed to the fundamentalist extremists, i have to agree that i have seen here lately more hate mongering than i care to witness. Its better if we don't name names, it will only start more flame wars. I just choose not to post in their threads or at least not directly in answer to them.

It seems to me your opening post was designed to get a reaction - I personally think you are trying to fan the fire. It is not surprising that if you poke and prod someone that they will react. That is also true of some who are ardent fundamentalists, universalists, catholics, baptists, JW's everyone thinks that they have to truth, because of course they can not be deceived.
All of christianities denominations and sect and the doctrines that each adhere to, are all based on the scriptures.
City Data is a forum for anyone - it has a section for "christianity" so it is not for a particular denomination or creed or sect.
It is for anyone who is interested in discussing things that pertain to christianity.
