That the resurrection of Jesus Christ was both physical and literal is overwhemingly evident beyond any doubt.

John 2:19,21 says, ''...Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up.'' 21) But He was speaking of the temple of His body.

Luke 24:39 says, ''See My hands and My feet, that it is I Myself; touch Me and see, for a spirit does not have flesh and bones as you see that I have.'' 40) And when He had said this, He showed them His hands and His feet. 41) And while they still could not believe it for joy and were marveling, He said to them, ''have you anything here to eat?'' 42) And they gave Him a piece of a broiled fish; 43) and He took it and ate it before them.

As it says in the link below, '' this is too plain to misunderstand. Only a perverse mind would so twist the scriptures as to conclude that the resurrection was merely spiritual.''

What an attack on the Word of God to so distort what is so plainly taught. Most Christians still have the good sense to realize that the Bible teaches a physical resurrection. It is the radical mind that against all reason insists that it was only a spiritual resurrection. Beyond this point it is not really neccessary to refute the radicals. They are locked into their false beliefs and will not listen to reason.

Now those aforementioned radicals will likely jump all over this post like a hobo on a hotdog, but that is to be expected. No point in replying to them. Here's the link.

False dichotomy . . . the resurrection is NEITHER physical nor SYMBOLIC . . . it is spiritual. It is the rebirth Jesus explained to Nicodemus. Everything the bible provides is for SPIRITUAL instruction NOT worldly or carnal. Stay wedded to your physical body and carnality and you will completely misunderstand God, the scriptures and our purpose. We are spiritual beings in a physical womb (body and brain).

Amen...there are many who don't understand the resurrection life spoken of by Jesus himself.

Amen Mike.

A real Jesus came to a real Earth, lived a real life and was crucified on a real cross to forgive the sins of those who trust Him. He was laid in a real grave and walked out just as real as He was carried in. He's alive still and is sitting at God's right hand interceeding for the saints even still.

Praise God for this Truth.

A real Jesus came to a real Earth, lived a real life and was crucified on a real cross because of our sins so that we would have a spiritual connection to God through His REBORN Holy Spirit for those who develop "love for God and each other." He's alive still and His human consciousness is perfectly resonant with God's consciousness providing a human connection to God for all of us even still.

Thank God for showing me this truth so unambiguously.

Amen. The church just doesn`t understand the spiritual. They are stuck in the physical. That is one reason why they misinterpret so many scriptures and actually have a false sense of Jesus and God`s plan for his creation. JMO.

The body of Jesus was stolen by jews who so loved him that they could not let him go to g*d. And so the concept of resurection has grown, through a message of truth. Yet he was born only of flesh so shall he die.

Behind each sin is redemption, for the sinner shall hear a message. Let us all hear the message. Rejoice in personal salvation and seek to live a more peaceful life.

Those who believe it is physical...I post the words of Paul:

1 Cor 15:36 [Thou] fool, that which thou sowest is not quickened, except it die
1 Cor 15:44 It is sown a natural body; it is raised a spiritual body.

People...get it right, or you will never get it...any of it...not one bit.
