That's a real spiritual question to know according to Paul in
1 Thessalonians 5:12 and 2 Corinthians 6:14-17.
Carnal minded people figure you nosy and judgmental when the book saying something the opposite.
No kidding ourselves.
Unbelievers are humble and peaceful and don't complain too
but don't bet your life they believe John 3:5 for what it say?
Likewise they go to meetings all the time and raise wonderful
children and grandchildren also but don't wager on them believing
Hebrews 4 for what it say?
Furthermore they don't cuss, swear and fool around on their mate
too but don't gamble on them believing Romans 7:2-3 for what it
say?
True next to say they forgive and apologize and go through
tribulation very Godly also but don't count on them believing
1 Peter 3:3 for what it say?
If the truth be told more they give up smoking and drinking and
stay marriages for 20 and 30 years until death too but don't wager
on them believing 1 Timothy 2:9-14 for what it say?
If the truth continue they are honest and very money generous also
but don't wager on them believing Romans 6:1 for what it say?
You get the heart of the matter behind the writing.
It's not about about a good Tom and good Suzie to be a Christian.
It's not about an atonement believer to be a Christian here. It's really about a Genesis to Revelation bible believer for what the book saying and saying only.
It's not even aboutignorant people cause John 10 people sure not too ignorant with the book if they truly John 10 people.
At least the book saying Amen to that in Titus 3:10 and 2 Cor. 4:3.
Especially an Amen to the book on this in James 1:5.
If we John 10 people hungry for our kind then the Holy Spirit
dealing with us in Matthew 5:6.
Anybody a nice John 8:44 person can have a good buddy meeting
and called that church for the week.
Unity sure not called a God thing only.

If your after the meeting God after then we can do church the
Psalms 133:1 way and get out the flesh with the wisdom of man
with common sense on being a Christian.
When the wisdom of man out the way then you can have a filthy
rag out the way(Isaiah 64:6) and really have church on what the
book saying only.
Moving all filthy rag wisdom out the way is the good and pleasant
way for brethren.
The book with more of an Amen to this in Matthew 5:18-20.
Anything foolish by God is still wiser than any filth rag wisdom of
man.
The book clear with an Amen to that in 1 Corinthians 1:25.

Jesus is the Word of God . . . not the bible, Verna. By this time you should know I have more than read the bible and understand its spiritual import and role as "USEFUL" for instruction, etc. Fundamentalist literalists distort the message of Jesus and corrupt His clear commandments to "love God and each other" with ancient primitive misunderstandings created under the veil of ignorance in reading written scripture without the filter of Jesus's love and Holy Spirit.
