Is smoking marijuana a sin? (women, Revelation, scripture, Jesus)
Sin?... I wouldn't think so.
It's stupid, but not a sin. Smoking anything is stupid, though.

God created marijuana as well as tobacco and alcohol and various other substances. Perhaps one can sin when using those things to excess but use alone is not a sin unless it is a sin for using any and all of the substances. We use alcohol in communion and Jesus made wine, herbal concoctions were used to induce sleep or some other altered state so I would have to assume the answer is no.

I have had people telling me I am going to hell for so many reasons, I think one of the dumbest person who saw me list a Led Zepplin song," The rain song."

Dude messaged me with that as proof that God was going to torture me for eternity. I have heard so many things from long hair to women speaking in church. A million times for cigarettes.

It is bizarre to even imagine how a 50 year old person can think so many people are going to hell and for the dumbest reasons.

If I told somebody some of the bad things I have done, they would stroke out and die on the spot. It's a great mystery to me, Jesus said I can be angry with somebody and be just as guilty had I killed them, or to lust after women is to be guilty of the act, I mean, I fail in so many ways and I used to think it was normal then you run across these people who cant wait till I go to hell for cursing, and I am thinking," Cursing? well you $@#^; "

What are they thinking?

It just makes no sense, it is not justice, it's not fair.

I used to be so scared of going to hell, but it's not the torture thing for eternity that scares me.

It's the naked thing that keeps me up at night. I have always thought I was going to hell, I made peace with it before I was ten.

I want to know that too.

We are having a hard time sleeping through the night without our nightly mj brownie, since we are away from home for a couple months.

If mj is a sin, so is Ambien and every other "sleep aid".

You can't get pot in California? I find that hard to believe.

Oh, maybe not legally yet, but still.

Too expensive here to make brownies---takes a lot. And couldn't find any dispensaries and no one wanted to deliver here....just all around hassle.

Surprising, I know. It was so much easier 10 years ago when I was here.
