In the Word of God on 1 Kings 19: 11-12 The prophet Elijah went hiding on Mountain Horeb from the death threat of Queen Jezebel....... Elijah was on the mountain and he was told .........Go forth and stand upon the mount before the Lord, And behold the Lord passed by, and a great wind rent the mountain, and brake in pieces the rock before the Lord, but the Lord was not in the wind; and after the wind an earthquake, but the Lord was not in the earthquake, .. and after the earthquake, a fire and the Lord was not in the fire, ,, and after the fire a small voice and the Lord gives his problems........... See the Lord God is not in this earthquake so probably not in the Haiti earthquake........When Jesus was in the boat during a storm he rebuked the storm and the storm subsides...... Would Jesus rebuke the Lord in the storm, NO he probably rebuked the fallen angels who can manipulate the weather, what else would he rebuke, natural flow. Go figure?
Actually, the Haiti earthquake was caused by a fault line between the Carribbean and North American plates. Sorry to disappoint those who think that God did this as "punishment". The fault line was there long before Haiti was colonized.

I read God's word, and it says God sent disasters to punish Pharaoh, and the people of Egypt, when they refused to let God's people go...
However, I don't mean to imply that this means Haiti is suffering as a result of "God's punishment", because I just don't know.

God warned Pharoah and he defied God and the warning came to fruitian. God has warned all of mankind in many ways and suffer of their own ignorance not Gods punishment. Yes God is capable of holding back disasters which He has warned all about, but He choses not to for his own reasons and they do not reflect ours.
Is it unreasonable to think that we have an effect on the vibrational rate of the earth's systems.
