The TRUTH is that ALL have "rejected" Him through their UNBELIEF -- Rom 11:32 -- which was ORDERED by GOD to occur.
Until GOD changes the HEART of man (which is by nature "wicked") -- Jer 17:9-10 -- the Heart remains UNCHANGED, and within IT's REJECTION of the WORD.
No man CAN [is ABLE to] COME to the WORD for its DIVINE "Heart changing" ability -- John 6:44ANDJohn 6:65 --Until one is drawn [DRAGGED in the Greek] to the WORD...
The SINNER does NOT "change" his/her own heart, and then confess JESUS as LORD, this is done by the HOLY SPIRIT of GOD -- 1 Cor 12:3
It is NOT up the SHEEP to SAVE him/herself by enacting of him/herself, the said "confession" which is done by the HOLY SPIRIT...
It is UP to the SHEPHERD [WORD] to SAVE the SHEEP... for HE is the SAVIOR...

Unbelievers don't do this. Therefore they reject what was offered to them and by their choice will not be saved.

FIRST -- you pose Salvation from SIN as a mere "OPTION" OFFERED -- to be decided upon by a SINNER... Which is tantamount to a CRIMINAL, rehabilitating HIMSELF... Please!
SECOND -- If it is by ONE'S CHOICE (according to YOU and your fallible theology) that they are become LOST...
Then the REVERSE is also true, and the "CHOOSER" in fact SAVES him/herself by his/her CHOICE...
And thereby negates CHRIST as SAVIOR. Reducing Him to a mere OPTION presented to the SINNER, which is either "received or rejected" [CHOSEN] by the eventual SAVIOR or LOSER -- which is the "CHOOSER".

Characterizing the CONSEQUENCES of our failures to abide within the "laws" (physics, moral, emotional,etc.) that God designed into our world as WRATH is a human corruption by the flawed negative emotions (weakness) of our primitive ancestors. The consequences of my failure to abide by the law of gravity is NOT a punishment or vengeful act of God. It is a consequence of my own stupidity. So is it with ALL God's laws.
