That is what I would say. Because that is what Jesus DID so if he didn't save all...perhaps I should offer my assistance in saving all from eternal torture by taking it all on myself.
If you honestly thought about what hell would be like, there is no way you would go there purposely.

Edit: I wouldn't take anyones place because I desire to be with the Lord more than anything else. Hell is without God and I would never, ever go there for anyone.

How do you know? But on another note, many eternal hell believing Christians will make the suggestion that people DO choose to go there purposely. Interesting.

The people who choose to go there do not know what they are getting themselves into.

I don't think we can misunderstand God.
Your first statement makes no sense. God doesn't lie. He doesn't want to lie. It's not in His character.

As far as misunderstanding God - ask Job.

Well, many don't believe in hell! Many people believe nothing happens to them after death.

The scriptures do not seem to indicate if God would want to or not. It says UNABLE.

adunatos ad-oo'-nat-os
from (as a negative particle) and G1415
unable, i.e. weak (literally or figuratively); passively, impossible:--could not
do, impossible, impotent, not possible, weak.

]The point is that understanding God is about whether or not any man has seen the true revelation of God in it's entirety. When that takes place, there will be no misunderstanding.

Just asking so I am clear about what you are saying as I do not want to misunderstand you.

But when they do know, you believe they would not choose it?

"Father, forgive them, for they know not what they do."

You must believe God said, "Sorry Son. No can do."
