The dunnhumby building will be completed, the old Enquirer building and Holiday Inn Express should both be up and running and hopefully phase II of the Banks will be near completion. I would love to see the streetcar get finished ahead of schedule. To see the city shine even more than today on national television would be amazing.

I have caught a few nationally televised events from Cincinnati over the past year (Bengals night game, Reds game, and W&S ATP) and the commentators for these events had nothing but positive things to say about Cincinnati. I would love to hear what they say when the entire riverfront is completed, lit up, shiny and new.

Looks like the Ingalls building will be going residential soon!

Downtown Cincinnati's historic Ingalls Building sold
Quote:
The Ingalls Building in downtown Cincinnati, the world’s first reinforced-concrete skyscraper when it was built in 1903, has sold for $1.45 million.

The 15-story, 75,000-square-foot office building is on the northeast corner of Fourth and Vine streets. It last sold for about $2 million in 2000, according to the Hamilton County auditor’s online records.

Great news ... I love that building. Now we need to get the Bartlett Building lit up again.

You must have inside information, because the story says nothing of the sort. Just wishful thinking?

Or maybe you're a psychic?

Ohiogirl81, there was an earlier Enquirer story saying the developer that converted the Federal Reserve building to residential was looking to do the same here. I guess CinciFan was putting 2 and 2 together.

Residential would be my bet, but I was hoping the article would say.

There was an article on December 16th that said the developer of the Federal Reserve building was planning to buy the Ingalls building and convert it to residential conversion. (I would post it for you but the link is dead.)

So yes, I was putting two an two together.
