Just found out my girlfriend and I will be moving to Cincinnati in a few weeks. Unfortunately I only have about 3 weeks to complete the move. Since my employer is located east of 275 near the Eastgate mall, I was looking to find a short term rental somewhere on the eastern side until I decide where I want to purchase a home. We are both in our late 20's without kids so we still enjoy living in an area where there is plenty of entertainment. Friends have recommended Anderson township, Loveland, Mason, Batavia, and Mt Lookout. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks.

Driving from the city over to Eastgate isn't all that horrific, so Mt. Lookout, Hyde Park or Oakley on the east side, or Mariemont, would be good choices. Another idea would be Newport, Covington or Dayton in Kentucky.

I agree with Ohiogirl81. Some of Nothern Kentucky would still be a reasonable drive to where you will be working. Also, what you can spend on rent might dictate what areas you will want to live in.

Try craigslist. Here is the link
craigslist: cincinnati, OH classifieds for jobs, apartments, personals, for sale, services, community, and events

Where ever you go make sure they have not had bedbugs. They can go a year without feeding.

Default where to live

Def. Hyde Park, Mt. Lookout, or even Mount Adams. From all, you can take 50 E out to 275, then pop one or two exits down, so you don't have to deal with 275 all the time.
