I have to say I am so excited about our meet-up Saturday morning. This is going to be the highlight of my month! Yes, I've had a pretty crappy month.
I was diagnosed with breast cancer and am scheduled to have a mastectomy Monday morning, so this is my last hurrah for awhile. Thank you, Jeff, for putting it all together. I promise not to dance on the tables, but other than that all bets are off. See you Saturday!

THRILLED that you can make it, SunnyDee!!! Hartwell Girl & Goy Guy have seen me in person but, for the rest of you; I'm 6' tall and portly... I've got brown hair with a haircut a G.I. can appreciate and I'll be wearing a red polo shirt, sitting at the center table in the restaurant. Looking forward to meeting everyone!

Good morning all! Sent a few new posters on here a friendly reminder to not forget the breakfast meet up tomorrow....

This will be my 3rd meet up....I know Goyguy, Crew Chief and met the wonderfully kind and beautiful SunnyDee at a garden party --I encourage everyone to come out even if only for a few minutes to have a cup of coffee. Converstations are always great, meeting people you chat/debate with on the computer is always fun, and heck--what else are you going to do at 8a on a Saturday? Rake the leaves in your yard? If it's a toss up between the two, go with the coffee....

So please, all you regulars who post on here and have yet to respond (you know who you all are!) I look forward to seeing you!

Get your hineys up tomorrow, and join a great group of people for a cup of Joe. I know I personally would love to see a special person and wish her the best with her surgery & treatment.

I was close to that area last Saturday, ate pancakes at the Mason Pancake Day breakfast, but a 3 1/2 hour drive each way is just a bit too much for this weekend. Maybe next time. Enjoy yourselves and I'll be thinking of you.

Thanks for the rousing cheer, Hartwell Girl!!! Looks like the weather might be halfway decent, too! (Dry= decent for me!) Again, We've got the big ol' table in the center of the IHOP. If that fills up, we have the majority so we should be able to just take over the place after that...

See y'all in my "trucker physique" and red polo shirt! PLEASE NOTE 8 a.m start time; we'll move to Caribou Coffee if they give us the "Bum's Rush"

It WAS a wonderful time!!! ccooper6, The Don, Hartwell Girl, SunnyDee and I had a wonderful time! We solved all of the problems of the Cincinnati area, so you all need worry no more! Actually we had some very nice discussions from home renovation (some "tricks of the trade" were exchanged!) to schools to Cincinnati neighborhoods. What a delightful morning! Hope even more can make the next one in April!

Yow, these keep on growing and growing...from 2 C-D'ers to 4 to 5! Look at it another way: 100% increase in attendance at the second meet-up from the first, then another 25% hike this time. And that's not including "spice" and kids and grandkids and other entourage. Nice going!
Hartwell Girl gets the prize for not missing one yet, and The Don is the hands-on winner of the Farthest Traveled award. (That'll change when the next meet-up occurs on his side of the viaducts.)
rrtechno: It would've been a 3 1/2 hour trip for me too (2 1/2 of those on a plane) so I had to pass this one up. Here's to free calendars and local availability on 4/18/10!
ccooper: AWESOME that you could be there. One of the main purposes of these get-togethers is to welcome newcomers to the area, so after two gatherings of only locals and natives it's great to have a newbie join in the festivities. Ya'll come back now, hear?
