Sorry folks but a must see another freeway video (more concrete) lol - The Trans Mountain freeway is now under construction, video shows what it will look when completed-

http://link.brightcove.com/services/...d=808199942001 (go full screen for a better view lol)

I wonder why The State of Texas decided to build several freeways in El Paso, could it be it's Gigantic growth? and I wonder why the so called abq RURAL metro (hilarious) has 2 freeways with a stop n go boulevard that needs an exit to I-25 which the city can't afford? lol. I think people in NM should research the reason why a growing city needs to have proper mobility. Help is on the link below, if you read carefully you'll find the answers!

Resorting to freeways again and repeating your same statements over and over again looks like you're running out of steam. Tucson has only one freeway and its still a more attractive city than El Paso.

El Paso by far and Tucson would be a close second choice if I had to live in the desert. I would take Vegas over all 3 of these

Texas and Arizona > New Mexico

Yep. Especially when you consider he ignores facts (the correct definition) presented and just goes on about a freeway again.

I stayed there a few weeks ago. It still has a grand lobby but the hotel quality has plummeted over the years and is in desperate need of renovation. The interior is outdated, faded, and downright dingy in spots. Sad to see what once once a grand property so neglected. I suppose the luxury market just isn't there, best downtown El Paso can do is the new Doubletree, not very exciting. And as for the rest it’s the usually mid range to budget chains one could find anywhere else and an airport Marriott.

Albuquerque has a downtown Hyatt, the Hotel Albuquerque and Q nightclub in Old Town, and the new boutique hotel with a great rooftop lounge the Parq Central. In other areas there's a Hilton and Marriot and the Nativo lodge which has local chracter and accents. On the outskirts there is the Sandia Hotel and Casino the fantastic Hyatt Tamaya resort, this property is sweet (New Mexico Resorts- Hyatt Regency Tamaya Resort & Spa- New Mexico Hotel, Accommodations)

Tucson excels both El Paso and Albuquerque as it's more of a tourist destination for leisure travelers and golfers and has a wealthier clientele base. That said, El Paso is really lacking in the hotel market.
You have made yourself clear on how uninformed and clueless you are of El Paso including the rest of new mexicans, you're unaware of the hotel you stayed in downtown El Paso! pack up your posts and stay within your small new mexico world. First of all, you stayed at the historic Hotel Paso del Norte, now The Camino Real, the hotel was designed by Trost and Trost and opened in 1912. The Westin Corp. purchased the Paso Del Norte and built a 17 story tower adjacent to the original structure. Westin occupied the hotel for several years then purchased by the upscale Camino Reals out of Mexico City, the chain has several upscale hotels throughout large cities in Latin America and Europe. The 19 story Plaza Hotel accross from the Camino is Conrad Hilton's first highrise hotel built, plans for the Plaza are condos with ground retail and cafes it will be part of the Mills Plaza District it includes the now renovated historic Anson Mills Building accross the street. The San Jacinto Park now under construction/redesign, will include a trolly restuarant located in the park.

They are all in the Mountain Time Zone (El Paso and it's suburbs are the only cities/area in Texas that's in mountain time zone)

And their population figures are strikingly similar, well 2 are for cities, and 2 are for Metropolitan areas.
If you've ever been to the three, you know they are most definitely NOT strikingly similar.

When we were last in El Paso, it was a war zone. People were getting gunned down in the cross-fire of drug thugs. We didn't even feel safe driving around to do any sight-seeing.

Tucson is considerably nicer, but also has its share of drug traffic crimes and lots of thefts. I lived there for twelve years and in the last twenty have only gone back to visit my mom. Now that she's gone, I cannot think of a reason to go.

Albuquerque and its suburbs is one of the faster growing cities in the region, and for good reason. My cousin and her husband live in Rio Rancho, and we spent time visiting them in '08 and '10. It beats Tucson by far.

I always thought that the Dallas Hilton was his first high rise. His bio on wiki makes that claim but so does wiki's page on the plaza.
