Its so funny. Whenever there is a Dallas vs. Atlanta thread, the tone is always of mutual respect. Whenever there is a Houston vs. Atlanta thread, they want to rip each other a new one.

Well, it goes both ways then.

And yes, Fox is the crazy.

You can't be serious. You're obviously relatively new to the forum though. Throughout internet forum history, Houston and Atlanta posters have always gotten into it . Both ities are filled with sensitive posters, while Dallas posters generally don't leave the Texas section.

You had it backward from the start. Metro Houston has a higher percentage of Latino's and African-Americans. That is the difference. However, those communities are repersented here in very large numbers. The "others" including Asians and people from other parts of the world are insignificant on the whole. There are almost as many here and they are just as integrated.

Great post, and it flies in the face of everyone who thinks that every city in the South (outside of Miami) is just a homogeneous mix of slack jawed yokels. No disrespect to slack jawed yokels, of course.

How about when there's a Houston vs. Dallas thread?

I have to say that I've noticed that any thread involving disucssion of a southern city vs. any other city usually goes downhill very quickly. Not many people on this site give any credibility to southern cities...there is so much unwarranted criticism toward them, and I have a feeling that it's mostly from people with no real knowledge of them.

Stay tuned. This evening I will do a more detailed profile of the 4 metro areas/cities in question.

I am serious. Just go back to the Atlanta vs Dallas thread thru the lil bit I did read they seem to come to an agreement.. No matter what facts or opinions are thrown out there. Houston nor Atlanta posters are going to change how they feel . So this is beating a dead horse....

LOL, not "too good," more like, "too tired of this same damn type of thread popping up every few weeks". I feel like my perspective would've been useless, since most people seem to have their mind made up the minute they come in here. I knew as soon as this thread popped up, it was going to be a bloodbath, so I figured why bother?

*walks out while y'all fight amongst yourselves and goes to the elliptical*
