King of the Hill does for small towns in Texas. American Dad is a bit of a stretch and so is Family Guy for their regions. The Simpson's we have to find out which Springfield in USA they mean. The Illinois one, or Massachusetts one, or Missouri one, or the other 375037 of them.

Mike Scully is from West Springfield, MA. So WE like to think it's ours, lol.
Family Guy hits on the stereotypical New England cultural to the T. So I would vote for that.

I love that show man. Have every episode of FG. I've just never been to RI before to say. I always thought FG was more of a blend with minor portrayal and a lot more shenanigans. But now that I think about it, they do reference "Rhode Island" so much from the way they talk to the way they life daily life. (Minus Peter's stupid schemes!)

Take it for whats it worth but Matt Groening ( The Simpsons creator ) during the The Simpsons 20th Anniversary show pretty much had said a lot of what was the basis of the Simpsons was actually Portland, OR. Example: Krusty The Clown was loosely based on real life Portland kids show star Rusty Nails who had done a show for KOIN channel 6..and in "Springfield"...Krusty's show had aired on channel 6.
Also the same show ( Simpsons 20th ) showed a real life school in Portland that looked very much like the same school Lisa and Bart attends plus a number of streets in Portland has names like "Lovejoy" and "Flanders"
Oh that recent Whale/ Lisa Simpson episode...that was based on something that had taken place many years ago in PORTLAND
family guy lol their humor is dumb as hell but its hilarious!
