Actually if you look at population within 5 miles of the Core

Houston is estimated to have about 60K more people (now the bay plays a factor but still has more people) within a 5 mile radius.

Houston ~460K
Seattle ~380K

every city? There are doezens of cities in Alaska that are much bigger than 600 sq miles and I don't see their multiple skylines, in fact most don't even have skylines. you do not know what you are talking about.

OKC, Jackonville, Phoenix, Nashville, Butte and Anaconda Montana all are about the same size as Houston, where are their multiple skylines? Anchorage and Juneau are major alaskan cities, where are their multiple Skylines. You could probably fit houton into Juneau 5 times.

Seattle only seems dense because in Texas terms it is the size of a podunk Texas town like Port Arthur, or Brownsville. or maybe Waco

I will take the multiple skylines any day.

I like my trees.

Too much concrete all in one area cannot be healthy.

Houston is built more like Plato's republic with buildings seperated by rows of trees.

You all can have your concrete jungles.

Too much sprawl cannot be healthy either...in fact, Houston has a higher rate of obesity and diabetes than Seattle...
