I'm sure we'd be blown away by pics of downtown Flint.

Pictures of Flint are boring compared to pictures of downtown Middletown, Oh.

Michigan. Especially the west coast of Michigan. Grand Rapids is nice, but the small cities along the coast are really awesome.

I love both. I can't pick one. Michigan has the best nature, Ohio has the best cities... though I love all the UP towns, Detroit, Grand Rapids, Kzoo and Ann Arbor.

I've driven I75 countless times from Detroit to Cincy and finally got around to driving it from Detroit to Sault Ste. Marie this past weekend - and holy crap is the Michigan stretch better than the Ohio stretch. That doesn't even take into account the rest of Michigan's northern scenery.

So the Michigan posters that have been ripping Ohio to shreds are completely acceptable, huh?

And I really don't care that much about Michigan to hate it. I used to go up to Windsor during college, and I've always liked visiting the very attractive MSU campus, but other than that and city-data threads it really never crosses my path or enters my consciousness.

And I suppose the Ohio posters like you that have been ripping Michigan to shreds are just fine and dandy, right? Have any of you Ohio cheerleaders noticed who's leading the poll? It ain't Ohio.....

Though someone who likes MSU (well, the campus anyway) can't be all bad. Just sayin'. (olive branch = extended)

Yes, because the polling on CD is scientific and without bias. The 6 vote gap must mean that all those actual numbers I posted aren't true!

Actually surprised it's this close; would have expected at least 3:1 in favor of Michigan. Must be a lot of Ohio folks with various IPs and extra C-D accounts triple voting. BTW-- this is tongue-in-cheek.

Funny, I was thinking the same thing about Michigan's lead!
