But Atlanta doesn’t have more wealth so your point is moot.
The cost of living is lower, so that your point is moot. No point in having all that extra money when it's going to the higher cost living. Living check to check on another scale (barely).

How do you know who’s living check to check? Rash generalization!
So basically an entrepreneur in Atlanta that owns a taco stand is more powerful than a lobbyist in DC because he has his own business? Got it. He’s a boss. LOL. You should log off the internet. Like I previously mentioned. You can’t be the Mecca if there is a place that is more educated, more influential, more powerful, higher salaries, higher disposable income, etc......
Lol @ taco stand
Taco stands must be lucrative investments in Atlanta. And you don't have to go and you don't need security clearance to get one. You're bragging about education, but education teaches you how to be an employee, and the links that previously provided to us from another poster, Atlanta is ahead of DC in entrepreneurship. Also, let's not gloss over the fact that DC is pushing a lot of the black population out. You're on glue if you think that qualifies as a Mecca.

Atlanta is also pushing out its black population. Atlanta will likely resemble DC where the black population is a plurality not the majority. Not only that, but the black poverty rates are similar (Atlanta has a higher black poverty rate).

So I agree that Atlanta is the "black mecca" but your attempts to bring down the DC area are unsubstantiated.
I'm not bringing down the DC area, I'm staunchly supporting Atlanta. Actually, Atlanta should have more poverty than the DC area as the federal government is right there; Atlanta has state government which doesn't really compare. Also, Atlanta has a slighter higher black percentage, yet Atlanta has been gentrifying far longer than DC.
DC is doing it's thing, but Atlanta is doing it better.

You are going over the top in bringing down DC in your past few posts on this thread though. It is obvious to see.

Not when you account for cost of living. You can buy a mansion in greater Atlanta for 150k. Atlanta has higher rates of black owned businesses, home ownership, employment. It's really not even close.

I was stating facts, and the fact is that on paper, Atlanta has a better case for being the "Capital of Black America" than DC does.
If it comes off that way then I'm fine with that.
