There's quite a large Black Caribbean population. That said, I don't think of Miami as a Black mecca, at least not for living. However as a party destination for the bars and clubs, it's pretty high. But that's the case for all people (black, white, Hispanic mostly).

Miami's not a hotspot for Black-Americans. But Miami attracts Haitians and Bahamians. YES, Middle-Class Haitian and Bahamians believe it or not.

I live in south FL and u are correct about it being a party destination for black america. Honestly, u should be in south Beach during Memorial day weekend. It's literally nothing but blk people. Also, a group called "BME" aka "black mafia entertainment" host parties at Wet Willies and other bars/clubs popular with rappers and black ppl.

I avoid it tho lol. It's just so try-hard rapper video wanna-be..... cuz after that weekend. 99% of the ppl down there "ballin out" . . . go back to where they're from..the cars with the 26 inch rims colored in the candy paint, smokin blunts, lol. soooo try-hard.
You're not Weezy, bro....lol nice try....did u see some rappers doing that on a music video on MTV or something? awwwww, its adorable u think that's ballin out. lol

Memorial Day is Urban Beach Week, right? I didn't go down to South Beach, but I heard about it. I try to avoid the area when it's crowded. I went down during Spring Break and it was crowded (a lot of Black people went then too).

Yup, "Urban Beach week" is code for "black people week in south beach"....or rather "Young black people that worship Rick Ross, Juicy J, Weezy" in South Beach.

It's a shame really, I think it was during urban beach week last year that homeless man got his face eaten off? Yeah, keep it classy, miami

Pople with real class and tact and money wouldn't dare go to South Beach as it is tourists and tacky people who want to spend their rent money on a week of ballin out and bein a rap star lol
Us native south Floridians laugh at those people and mock them.
