Honestly, I kind of feel like NC's numbers are lesser than what they should be, but oh well.

Atlanta 404 to Charlotte 704 and the Riches 804 (Richmond)!!! Notice the last digits in the area codes of these three cities has the number 4! Lol thought I might throw that out there...

While in Jacksonville, Florida this past weekend I also noticed that their area code is 904..and New Orleans is 504...

(but Atlanta also has 770, 678, and 470 so I don't think Atlanta should be included) The other cities only have one area code

Well the Charlotte area actually has three--704 and 980 for NC, and 803 for the SC part of the metro.

^^ Damn I lived there i never knew that...lol...everyone I knew was 704?? Off topic is that all toll free dialing.. all of metro atlanta is..and stretches into Eastern Alabama 205...just wondering since b/c of the SC side.

Well metro Atlanta no longer crosses into Alabama, but 803 isn't toll-free from the NC side since it's a different state. 704 and 980 are, however.
