I can't say that San Diego has better weather than Minneapolis, etc....because some people prefer seasons and some prefer year-round summer. So instead, I'm going to give the best representation of each climate, based off of this map (http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/5/57/Climatemapusa2.PNG - broken link)
-the cities may not be exactly in these areas, but these are the best representors of them:
Semi-arid Steppe: San Diego
Humid Subtropical: New Orleans
Marine: Seattle
Mediterranean: San Fransisco
Continental (Cool): Minneapolis
Continental (Warm): Washington DC
Alpine: Denver
Tropical: Miami
Desert: Phoenix
1) Atlanta
2) Dallas
3) Houston
4) Baltimore
5) New York
I was only able to pick cities that I like as well as wanting my list to be diverse because I like the cool crisp fall and winter days that you get in New York and Baltimore and I also like the warm and mild winter days that you get in Texas and Georgia. I hate Califonia and Arizona because everyday feels the same. I would not want to live in California or Arizona but I do love to visit Califonia and Arizona.
1. Honolulu
2. San Diego
3. Los Angeles
4. Orange County (CA)
5. Santa Barbara/San Luis Obispo
6. San Jose (CA)
7. Oakland/East Bay
8. Sacramento
9. San Francisco/Peninsula
10.Miami
Seasons are wayyyy over rated. Humidity is not over or under rated, because its generally hated.....

They really are. They can get extreme last longer than wanted. Especially when your winter last all the way to your Spring Break. KILL ME

+1 from me!
Never in a million years would I expect to see anyone vote for Minneapolis in a poll like this! I agree with your assessment 100%, too, which is even stranger!
