For a small town that likes to think of itself as the so-called "typical American town", Muncie, Indiana has some pretty mean streets. There's some rough people in Muncie who love to fight and they are always looking for one. I've heard that in some Muncie bars, brass knucks are sold in the vending machines and they close on Sunday so they can pump the blood out of the basement.

Philadelphia.

The blue collar reputation, the boxing history (including Rocky), Broad Street Bullies (Flyers) and the Eagles.

Thats the trifecta of toughness and their fans have the same reputation for the toughest and most intimidating in sports.

NYC and Boston are both tough in regards to 9/11 and the Boston Marathon as well. Im sure Philadelphia would react no differently.

Id say Northeast cities like those and also ones hit with hard weather like Buffalo, Cleveland, Chicago and Detroit, etc.

What about El Paso?

It's the epitome of the Wild West. Cowboys. Drug cartels. Immigrants crossing the desert, risking everything for a new life. The harsh climate.

It's Texas. Big guns. Big steaks. Big belt buckles. Big boobs.

Capital punishment.

Yeah. El Paso totally take the cake.

LA is a city of fake people. How many people in LA even make 1/2 of 300K (150K)? Not many, but they try and live like they do.

Because wealthy people in other cities just ooze toughness.
