I don't get this comparison at all. What's the basis? Did you just pull the names of two cities out of a hat?
At any rate, like some people have already said, Vancouver pretty much wins every category in a landslide, but I'd much rather live in Jacksonville without question.

What dumb questions. Why not compare Vancouver and Jacksonville. That's what this forum is for, comparing cities. If you don't like it, don't click the thread.
Hey when you start a thread OP you might want to mention what state you mean because there are only about 31 Jacksonville's in the whole United States, don't ever assume, because you know what that means.
Really poor thread with very little thought process behind it, all you have to do is copy from other's list and voila !!!!!!!!
Because I enjoy living in America.
Because I prefer the climate and natural setting of Jacksonville.
Because it's closer to my family, friends, and other places I enjoy visiting.
Because it has more cultural amenities that I prefer/am accustomed to.
Etc.

Yeah, but there's usually some rhyme or reason to the comparison. This one doesn't make much sense from that standpoint, especially when one outshines the other in practically every way based on the stated criteria. A comparison of equals (more or less) will generate more thought-provoking discussion--unless you were only concerned with seeing one particular city get creamed in a match-up.
