While Pittsburgh has a very Blue Collar history, its economy today is very White Collar.

your post seems to be biased againt people who have certian jobs or incomes moving to a place. Diversity makes a city best. No one is getting kicked out of any homes when people with more income move in.

Oh really? Tell that to my best friend. He lived on germantown ave. in philly and every since them yuppies started moving in, prices started to rise and the people who always lived there had to move away because they couldnt afford it.

I'd say Pittsburgh is predominately blue collar, even though it has become progressively more white collar over the last 10 years. I definitely like a little bit of both. Philly, Chicago, and New York exemplify that best I'd say. They also happen to be 3 of my favorite cities.
