Seattle, as a major seaport, is an export powerhouse though.
I did already state in another post that my comment was ignorant.
I don't know much about Dallas. However, I will say Seattle has more millionaires per capita than any US city.

Dallas-FW ranks number 4 in the number of billionaires.

It's still bad. I mean seriously. Neiman's closes at 6 every day but Thursday when it's open until 7. It closed on Sunday.

That right there should tell you everything you need to know.

So let's not kid ourselves...

Dallas anchors the metroplex which is home to six million plus people and growing tremendously. Whether or not it beats Seattle Idk since I have only been to Dallas. But whether or not it
beats Seattle in this poll means nothing to but five people in Dallas. More have chosen to live there and more people will be living there for a long time to come.

Dallas may not have the best downtown, but least its putting effort into it. Right now Dallas is turning 4 sq. blocks into apartments and retail, there are also several new parks including one connecting to uptown and will have a restaurant. With that said Dallas is luring people back in its core. Also there are many more projects being built in and around downtown.

I voted for Seattle, but I must say that I find the cost of living out there absolutely laughable. At least in Dallas you can have a nice house for a decent price. Some of the homes in Seattle that are $250-300,000 are absolute shack dumps, and you can live big on that in Dallas.

Yeah we get it. You dislike it. We acknowledged that DTD has a long way to go and is not on the level of downtown Seattle. We also acknowledge that DTD is improving. The fact that you are unable to even give credit even at its smallest on improvement says more about how you will never like it, no matter what they do.
