Oakland, Pittsburgh- 55,000 employees

King of Prussia, PA- 55,000 employees (not including surrounding large business districts such as Conshohocken and Bala Cynwyd)

These are hard facts. And they are still being argued? I love Pittsburgh, it does GREAT for a city of its size, but a city of 300,000 simply cannot have more then a city of 1,600,000. Its just impossible (American cities only)

You Philly Boosters are a laughable bunch....NO ONE EVER SAID Pittsburgh was better than Philadelphia...

That's doesn't mean Pittsburgh doesn't have qualities to boast over Philadelphia......Stop being so paranoid with anyone that has actually experienced BOTH CITIES first hand might prefer Pittsburgh to Philly on some key metrics.

Until you can say you've actually been to and experienced Pittsburgh, sorry you opinions are nothing more than EXTREMELY ONE SIDED and biased

Numbers don't tell you everything and can be skewed and extremely misleading.....Like if you took every number that Summersm343 thoughout there to prop up Philly and turn them from a Raw numbers game into a Per Captia measurement, Pittsburgh's shines in many metrics over Philly. Like this one:

Here are the top-to-bottom rankings of 102 major markets in May installment of the On Numbers Economic Index, a monthly measure of economic vitality...... Only Pittsburgh and Boston (No. 16) from the Northeast made the top 20.:

3. Dallas-Fort Worth
4. Oklahoma City
5. Houston
6. Ogden, Utah
7. Baton Rouge, La.

This is my last argument on this one....Because like every other "vs. Philadelphia" thread...The Ignorant Obnoxious Philly Boosters suck all the oxygen out of any meaningful debate.

Again when you are constantly proved wrong you call us "laughable"... Your quite laughable. There is NOTHING you can say to change the fact that Pittsburgh is not comparable to Philadelphia, nothing. Its simply bigger in every metric.

Also that link you posted has Chicago behind even Philadelphia, with Provo, UT in the top 10... Do you think Provo compares to Chicago? Then Pittsburgh doesn't compare to Philadelphia.

Everything is so laughable to you. Get real please.

We're not all "Philly Boosters." I'm not from Philly or Pittsburgh. Plenty of nice things have been said about Pittsburgh in this thread by people who have been to both and actually prefer Philly overall. I only took issue with you giving Pittsburgh the edge on vibrant neighborhoods. I just don't see it, but we can agree that both places are cool and that Pittsburgh beats Philly in certain respects, particularly affordability and natural beauty.

Oh GET OVER YOURSELF....I haven't been proven wrong...Summersm343 shows the numbers he wants to show to Prop up Philly...And you like the clueless booster you are, buy into it because like him, you can't stand that someone might prefer any city to Pittsburgh.

It's funny, you'll believe summersm343 numbers that because its all Philly Biased...but any Official source that put Pittsburgh over Philadelphia is somehow seriously flawed!!! again You Philly Boosters are Hilarious...Almost like the Tea-Party, you believe what you want to...You have your own sets facts.
