Why do people want to live in Las Vegas and Pheonix? What is the desire? Las Vegas is great for weekend trips, but to live there in 100+ degree heat in the summer? No thanks.

Of all the dumb lists on the Internet, this one takes the cake.

lol, this is probably a failed attempt by the Las Vegas real estate agency to increase demand in a poor market.

Maybe this list would've been valid 15 years ago.

No offense to CD members who live in Las Vegas, but there are literally thousands of cities I would live in before Las Vegas.

I think city-data is a pretty good indication of where people want to live, especially the younger generation. Here is a better list.

1. Seattle
2. Portland
3. San Francisco
4. New York City
5. Austin
6. Boston
7. Minneapolis/St. Paul
8. Denver
9. Philadelphia
10. Washington, DC

I don't know many people who desire to live in Minneapolis. Switch that with Chicago.

Minneapolis is very up and coming with the younger generation. I think within five years it will be mentioned along with Austin, Portland, etc in lists of cities young people want to live in.

I would probably switch Denver out for Chicago.

Maybe they meant cities they want to visit/vacation in.

Pittsburgh should also be added to the list. We're seeing an influx of younger professionals and "hipsters" as of late, not unlike what we've seen previously in places like Austin and Portland.
