I voted DC. It is such a different city than others. It's not a skyline oriented city but low dense development with lots of parks. Seems very green and lush, with lots of water in the area. The climate is four seasons with none too horrible. Very diverse population and international feeling. I love the highly educated and very liberal population. These are all thoughts from someone who has never been though. I'd love to live there. The other cities for the Boston to Washington corridor are interesting but I can't really see myself living in any of them. I don't care for the accents of the northeast and DC seems like it doesn't really have that. Some of the cities seem past their prime (Baltimore, Philadelphia), NYC and Boston are just not for me to live in. Great places to visit.

Well I'm West, but does being native to the region count?
In the most unbiased way, I voted Philly (I'm from Boston). I love the skyline, history, art museum, food, and even the grit. If I lived there I'd probably get tired of it, but when I visit Philly, as I have many times, it always fascinates me.
I like and miss Massachusetts (really miss Cape Cod a lot, and Salem, MA) but I just kind of got over Boston and New York. As far as big cities go, they're not for me. DC is awesome to visit, but again just not my kind of city. Philly is my favorite of the lot.
I voted NYC. I've been to all of them more than once, but I've really only spent much time in NYC and DC. I like them both, but NYC has more of everything and its summers, while brutal, aren't as bad as DC's.
I voted Boston, but it is hard to deny that NYC is just awesome.
Lived in Boston, visited New York City for a week (and stayed in outer Brooklyn so got to see a nice chunk of the city outside of Manhattan), visited Philly once for a couple nights, DC once for a couple nights and never been to Baltimore (well I flew in to the airport and took a shuttle to the DC green line, don't think that counts ).
