I have been to Chicago many times.
I know how Chicago looks outside of the loop. Based on available data Chicago has a density of population much lower than Brooklyn and Queens let alone Manhattan.
You don't think everyone knows why is that? Can you say "sprawl"? Lol

!

Who is saying its as dense as NYC?! It's certainly not sprawled though. Take a look at the pics, you might learn something new! You though truly live in a sprawled environment. I would think you would know what sprawl is since you live in it.

Haha, ok tard have a goodnight

Its shocking as there are millions of tourist that come to new York from around the world to experience in person what they've seen on silver screen or read about in books.

This discussion becomes ridiculous: after all NYC is Americas prime tourist destination, and pictured in thousands of movies so its urban beauty is truly world famous yet you are willing to argue that "most people" prefer Chicago based on some "internet poll".
Pathetic.

You really are rather obtuse. Most people are like sheeple, and yes, most international tourists are no exception. They visit NY more than Chicago, Sydney more than Melbourne, Tokyo more than Osaka, Rome more than Milan etc. etc. etc. Las Vegas is visited by more people than Portland, so according to your impeccable logic, Las Vegas must indeed be more beautiful than Portlnad, right.

And your math is almost as stunning as your logic, now that New York is "5 times bigger than Chicago". If anyone's opinion should not be considered in this debate, yours goes to the top of that list.

Unfortunately you don't think of your comments on Chicago as opinion, though.

I'm not a New Yorker. I'm from New Jersey. NYC is the closest major city to me, and it's damn close, but I live in a NJ town not a city in NY.

Yeah because Chicago is my favorite city. Hey if you prefer NYC, think its more beautiful, etc, that's totally fine. I am not here to judge what others like, but yeah, when people get condescending to my favorite city, I will defend. You wouldn't for your fave city? Especially something based on opinion?

Anyway it's been fun y'all, and lets not fight and just go to bed as I am sure we all have work tomorrow and losing sleep over this is dumb.

No, why would I be? It's like nothing to me, I've lived 20 miles away my whole life and can go in and out of it as I please. It's just "the city" to me.
