I agree with the OP, only great/unique cities inspire songs, poems, plays, movies, etc. Cleveland is a city that can lay claim to a lot of these things. Cleveland is a very beautiful, interesting, and inspirational place.

Movies:
-Major League
-Welcome to Collinwood
-Kill the Irishman
-Draft Day

Many other movies were filmed here, and took advantage of our aesthetic, and our landmarks if not set here
-The Deer Hunter
-A Christmas Story
-The Avengers
-Captain America 2
-Spiderman

Songs:
-Cleveland: MGK
-Cleveland is the city: Bone Thugs n Harmony
-Cleveland: Kid Cudi
-Cleveland State of Mind - MGK
-This Town is My Town: Michael Stanley Band
Places in Cleveland are mentioned in many of the songs by Bone Thugs n Harmony

TV shows:
-Hot in Cleveland
-Drew Carey Show

Poetry:
Langston Hughes was from here. While none of his poems that I know of mention Cleveland specifically, what he saw here certainly inspired what he wrote about.

How could you forget "Cleveland Rocks" by Ian Hunter/Presidents of the USA? Also the "Heart of Rock and Roll" by Huey Lewis and the News and "Burn On" by Randy Newman were written about Cleveland.
